I bought the game yesterday. when I hit play. It says eso has stopped working. I am above min specs. I played some in beta. I have updated and repaired. I don't use webroot. Ant thought or ideas on how to get to play. I have a ticket open with customer service but its taking a while. Thanks.

Hey there, @unconsunub17_ESO‌. Usually this is caused when you're not running the game as admin. Try to close the launcher and game, and right-click on the launcher icon. Now select properties, choose the "Compatibility" tab, and check the box that says "Run as Administrator." Click "Apply" and "OK."

Let us know if that helps!

That doesn't seem to be working. Thanks though

Could be caused by not installing the DirectX / C++ per-requisites

    Are you using Windows 8?

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 is the DirectX components downloader/installer (mainly for Directx 9 stuff... higher versions are taken care of updates via Windows Update or already included in the OS installation)

Not too sure about the C++ version it includes since I already download/install each version of C++ (both x86 and x64) of 2005, 2008, 2010, and 2012 just to get it out of the way since I play older/newer games

Another thing is Graphics Drivers... perhaps search for a newer version or try wiping the drivers and reinstall em again
