Game crashes everytime I load my character

One of my characters has run into an issue during the Disorganized Crime quest in the Red Rook area of Glenumbra. As I was moving to complete the quest I crashed out of the game. Everytime I try to reload, I crash. I can load a different character (different region and level) and play fine. But as I come back to the character, the game crashes again and again. Any ideas on how to fix the issue?

I should add that I have the latest AMD/ATI drivers for my card, I am running XP, but this issue has not occurred on any other character.

You should contact CS and request that they move your character to a different location, as that seems to be the cause of your issue. Also report what triggered the crashes, so that they can look into the issue and fix it.

Lovely, i just experienced this and make a support call after trying 10 times rebooting computer etc, have been playing since april and never experienced this.

I think the traps are causing the problem, when i get close to them it crashes the game, when i log in i crash right away, again and again.

I wonder if support will move me and if they do if i should abandon the quest, i have done 4 out of 5 traps and now it wont let me play on my main character beesting.

Is this occurring with all of your characters, or just the one on this quest? If it's just the one on the quest, we recommend a repair first to see if that helps. To do this, close the game, open the launcher, and select Game Options just above the news section. Select Repair from the dropdown and allow it to run. Once it's completed, let us know if you're able to log in to that character.

If the crash is happening with all of your characters, a repair may help, but we may also need to take a look at some additional system information as well. Let us know which is occurring and we'll be happy to continue helping!

It only happens to my main that is on the quest. I would like to finish caldwells gold before christmas haha, as i can only play after work normally.

The other alts can login, but i don't really play that much on them.

I tried the repair option, logged in, the world including the trap that i am supposed to disarm right in front of me loaded in, for the first 10 seconds i did not move and just waited.
Then i started looking around, after 2 secs the game crashed. I was in a sneaked position and did not move at all, just changed my camera view to the left

So i tried logging in into this char again and the game crashed right away.

Did the repair option again, logged into char, game crashes right away.

Can you please move me to a save location? Pretty please?
