Dungeon Reset

Hey guys,
I was doing Ash City or whatever that dungeon was called, earlier today. One of the group members dropped after downing the first two bosses and the new replacements could not come into the semi cleared dungeons. The group disbanded and I have since abandoned quest and just to make sure, entered the dungeon again before logging off and the mobs were still dead.
Is there a way to reset the dungeon or would it be reset when I group up again for it with a different bunch of guys? Just want to make sure before I joined the group finder and then having to find out I screwed up the instance for three others or cause some such inconvenience.

Abandon the quest then go back and pick it up from the quest giver. As far as I know that is the only way.1
