Cadwell's Silver GAME BREAKING BUG!

Hi I finally got to level 50, after very very much relogging, dropping quests, having to deal with a ton of already broken things and NOW... I finally have "Cadwell's Silver" quest... Everything was going great, he walked me up to the stone told me to use it to teleport to daggerfall covenant area to begin my quests as veteran rank 1... AND, The game crashed to desktop. There was an error report which I clicked "submit" on, and it sent.

Now, my question is why is there NO way for a GM to reset my quest at least? Why can't I abandon this quest and restart it? Why is there no remedy for all these end game bugs?

I would really appreciate some assistance on this matter as it seems rather simple to just let me retake the quest somehow, or restart it for me... It's completely gimped my character now that the only way to progress in veteran points, is through dungeons? I don't understand why we can't just have a Game Master's assistance with one simple issue.

i have the same problem, but as i was porting to auridon, the server shutdown for maintenance, and now im in daggerfall, and unable to be ported there..cant do anything to progress

Exact same thing has happened to me, Stonefalls was loading then crash! now I'm stuck in the Dominion. Did this get resolved for you?

For anyone having this problem, I have a workaround. Talk to the all the undaunted npc's in your respective faction, until you get the locations of the first dungeons in the other factions (by VR1 chances are, you have done this already). Fast travel to the dungeon in the faction you were supposed to go to, then walk out the front door. look at your map and the first wayshrine should be unlocked, recall to that wayshrine and you should be good to go.

I have same Problem and 4 days stuck near un-active portal in Harborage.

As someone stuck for 6 days on the groundskeeper, I feel your pain.

Workaround: Cadwell's port drops you exactly where the tutorial puts new players of that zone. Get a friend (or pay to make a new friend) to go there, and port to them. Theres nothing fancy, I am in the vet2 zone and cadwell's silver is still just sitting there (in my quest log). I suspect if you can physically get to the Vet-Version of Daggerfall, you are good to go, and you should be able to get there easily.

Question: You say you got to lvl 50, but there kinda is no level 50. It goes 49, Vet 1, Vet 2, ect. If you are Vet 1, then you should indeed be good to go. If you are actually 49, the please note that for accuracy in the bug report and get to grinding.

Brutal. I just got stuck here as well. Breetai is right, you just have to join a dungeon group and then you can teleport there.

Same issue as OP, my only difference is once I click the portal crystal the game froze for 20+ minutes on a splash screen. Submitted ticket and such. If it works you will need to locate a vet 1 or greater from your alliance that you can group with and travel to them, since your account is not marked per say, you cannot have a friend make a char on the quests allotted faction and group with them to get the starting area of that faction.

They just need to adjust the quest to add a portal to your network and do away with this whole issue. Good luck on finding Vet 1+ dungeons to try that walking out idea.

Im stuck here aswell... cancelled my sub, im done with this broken game. ive endured so many broken and bugged crappy quests, then i got stuck after defeating last boss, was stuck in his room for days, finally got out - stuck on the next part... *** this.

Same happen to me. "Message acroos Tamriel" bugged and i stuck for 4 days. Then final battle bugged i lost another day and have to fight him twice. And after that now im stuck at Cadwell SIlver!! i wrote to supprot:

worked perfectly just ported to spindleclutch and walked out the door and poof i was in gelnumbra where i was supposed to be

To fix this, you must complete the first level 12 dungeon for undaunted and then the map will unlock the other 2 realms level 12 dungeons. Select and recall to dungeon that is closest to which realm your quest was suppose to send you to. Once inside the instance, leave and you will remain in the zone, then travel to the nearest wayshrine and once you have discovered the wayshrine your new story wayshrine will now appear in your network. Simply travel to it and continue on. To bad ESO Customer service could not relay this fix.
