So I am sad to say I didn't have faith in this game and expected it to make me sad panda, but i held off for the week and am excited that I have fallen for this game! Only sad news is I hate that I would have had to pre-order a game that I was so iffy about to get the "unlock any race any faction" bonus, but now I regret it because my friends are on the lion faction, but Human races bore me and orc females are ugly (prefer females because least I have something to look at while i play, lawl e-pornz). Is there a way to now get the explorers pack or is there info about when/if itd be available in the future? THanks in advance for any possible info. Maybe the Dovhakin be with you!

The only race you get is imperial, and the ability to play cross faction, You can still play on ebon, covenant, and or dominion with out having a pre-order. It's possible you can still get it if you upgrade your game copy.

No they said the only time you will ever get any race any alliance is from pre-order, now the only option you have to choose the alliance for a race is with the imperial upgrade...thats it

I remember hearing someplace that it was possible to unlock specific races for other alliances... I think I was just misreading the way veteran content works.

Short version is, once you get to 50, you can advance into the other two faction's zones and do the quests there on the same character.

yes but you can still only play with others that are in your alliance, you dont actually change alliance by going there to do quests and content

    1. You're either very slow
    2. 2. Or a really bad troll.
    3. All the alliances are open
    4. 4. All the races are open with the exception of imperials ( imperial crafting is locked as well, unless you get ce or motifsin-game)
    5. You do not have to pay any thing extra to play any race or alliance in this game, Listen to me no this troll.

Yeah, I should have made that clearer. You get access to those areas, but they're at a new post 50 level version; you're not mixed in with the populations from those alliances.

lol speaking of..... he is asking if he can play like a khajiit in the daggerfall covenant without having preordered...so the answer is no, yes you can play a khajiit and yes you can play daggerfall, but not both at the same time without having preordered unless you make your khajiit in aldmeri then get to vet content and go to daggerfall that way, but you still will be in a different alliance.

The only thing you are forever blocked from is playing any race you want in the alliance of your choosing, you have to play one of three races in their respective alliance or get the imperial upgrade to play an imperial in the alliance of your choosing

You might still be able to get a key. I have seen several pre-order boxes (with a sticker "includes explorers pack" on it) in the stores in my area. You'd need to buy game box another time and use the pre-order key contained in it for your account. Whether this is an option for you or not would depend on how much you want that feature.

that is actually a really good idea, go down to your local store that sells games and see if they have one with it
