People are quitting

I am posting an email sent to me by one of my friends that I talked into buying this game. Thought Zenimax should know, if they care.

"These guys suck on such a scale that I cannot play this anymore. Their support web site doesn't even work right on some portions. Plus, they don't respond anyway, at least not so far. Such a shame dude. They had so much potential, but didn't follow some of the most basic formulas for MMORPG's. Hell, they can't even keep me from falling through floors even if I wait for it to render. And they want me to kill myself, pay for repairs that they caused, and walk back. That is BS. Just way too many issues to ignore. I understand that there would be some issues, but they have left so much out in my opinion that shouldn't be, and they seem so terribly unprepared. Almost like they didn't research anything and thought they could just about thrown their regular game online. Sigh.
Plus making us pay a hefty price up front plus an ongoing subscription. Meh.

Anyway, good luck and have fun."

This is the 3rd person I talking into buying this game that has decided it is just not worth it.

If you had to talk them into buying it, maybe they weren't likely to stick around anyway.

Tell them to chill out and come back in a month or 2 when things should be smoothed out. Play some random console games till then

People still send emails to friends?

Regardless, people are going to quit New MMOs. Alot of people try them, some don't like them, some do. To say bugs were expected, but then to quit over them is a bit silly.

It's a great game.. and hopefully soon the issues will be worked out.

I personally see way too much potential in the game to quit over some mostly minor bugs and performance issues.

I really enjoy this game, but I tell it like it is. I work in retail computers, so I talk to many customers and co workers about games. I tell them I love the game, it is amazing to explore, and the great stories for quest lines. However just last night I had to log in and out on at least 10 different occasions to get quest to complete or skyshards to show up. I constantly fall through floors or whatever it is when you see only the sky, long load times, 5 minute delay on guild chat, people getting banned, no response from customer support. Most of the people I talk to say they will wait and don't want to pay $15 a month for a game with so many issues. It's not easy for me to honestly sell an unfinished product no matter how much I enjoy the game.

Ok, I think these "quitters" need a beer and a hug. This happens in every new MMO that has ever launched and will continue to happen with future MMO's. These games are human made and we all know that humans do and will make mistakes. No one is perfect. Just get up from your computer, walk to the fridge and grab a cold one go watch a movie, go to bed (alone or with a group) and forget about this for awhile. It will all fix itself soon enough and then you'll return and remember why you started playing in the first place and actually have some fun. So...DUUUUUUDE!!! Stop your whining (or your actual friends if you weren't lying) and grab a smoke (real or recreational) and a beer!! Chill buddy!

Eh, let them float around the gaming community. Odd are they'll be back, and hell if they aren't. We all know what these frenetic angry posters are like in game. Just watch your zone chat for a bit.

Does it hurt so bad to see them go? does it?
