Yeah, the servers are down for work right now, and yeah there are still some big bugs with banks, skill trees, and a few quests. But trust me, it was much worse in the beta.
Ill admit im a little annoyed that the server is down, then again im one of the players who couldn't even log in. Everyone needs to remember, THE GAME IS NEW! Anyone with half a brain can tell you there is much work that still needs to be done, and personally I think the team is doing a great job so far.
So for all those who keep bashing the game and threatening to leave forever, fine. Leave. For the rest of us, have some patience. EVERY game is buggy at launch and around launch. Give it a little time and those major issues will get fixed, and then eventually the smaller ones.

This is what most games do on a weekday morning so they don't inconvenience their customers. This is just bull#$%! They aren't fixing crap and haven't fixed crap since they launched. The few patches we've had since launch did nothing but make sure players weren't dismounting from their horses. Oh Boy!2 -

Are you working for ESO? Cause when i payed for 60$ i did not sign up to also be a beta-tester!

promptly fixed ...this must be some kind of joke, and just because we are 10 years later doesn't mean we are using the same technology...this is not WoW's graphical engine which has had 10 years to be perfected. New things have new problems, they must be dealt with.

Kreeth✭✭Launch should have been delayed. I was overly excited for this game, but all the problems I've experienced is really frustrating and turning me off from this game. I've enjoyed what i've played for the most part, but I'm slowly gaining a buildup of disappointment.1

This is not a patch. Load times were around 5 minutes and tons of people couldn't log in. They are fixing it, not patching. This issue cannot wait until a weekday morning.

Same here, but i love the elder scroll series! I am purchasing 1 month of subscripition I hope they get their act together and fix all the bugs! and to be honest i hate this paragon system, veteran lvls are just stupid!1 -

So you've never played an MMO before I take it? Servers have issues, it's a fact and Zenimax can't choose when those issues will arise.
The game is performing poorly for many right now so it's best to pull the servers down NOW for maintenance rather than in 2 hrs when the servers degrade to the point they completely crash and no one can play. THEN you can *** about not having game access for an extended period on time.

Networking a group of servers as large as the one that runs ESO has got to me complicated. Somewhere, some router is misbehaving. Or something else bad is going on with the network near their servers.
That's really all there is to it. Whatever problem the NA cluster is having the EU cluster isn't. It's like asking why one car broke down but another one didn't.

I played at launch meanie, and yes it had bugs, however they were fixed much faster than the bugs in this game.

do you play the game at all? just curious if you did, every patch has fixed quests that were broken amongst other things we have reported. The quests that were broken in beta were working quite well. So yes they are working.
I think someone used Molag Bal milk when they had ceral instead of normal milk
