Why does it take 3-5 days to get a simple email response?

Why does it take so many days to just get a response and then in most cases the response is not helpful? I thought the $15 a month is supposed to pay for a premium service. Every single free to play game run out of the US has better customer service. What is going on with this company?


And on an unrelated note: Why are you people not able to restore deleted characters? Having game logs should be the top priority for an mmorpg. When I read that thread where you guys gave him a blank level 34 character I was completely baffled. Ive never seen something so ridiculous.

    Quite simple. This is a brand new game, and a brand new support department. A huge number of people started playing the game on launch day. There are inevitably issues. Thus, a HUGE number of people all submitted tickets *at the same time*. This created a MASSIVE backlog.

    This is a one-time thing. It will go down over time. Also...WOW (which has been in operation for over 9 years), just recently (as in within the last year) had a 4 day response time for tickets. ESO is doing pretty well in the grand scheme of things.

    You keep posting lies about WoW in every thread. None of the Wow bashing has been true. Blizzard always responds within hours. No one needs your support in these threads. Im speaking to the company not some fanboy on the forums. Please at least try to get paid for doing so much work for them. This is the customer support forum not the players helping players

    I still have no received a single response from a ZOS member over the issue with vampire skills not working correctly. Poison Mist hasnt been working since December of PTS. Wtf can you not fix a simple skill not hitting the correct amount of times?

    umm - no. Been playing WoW since release and it has frequently been longer than hours. It depends a lot on type of ticket etc but days for a response during busy times in WoW on low priority items is hardly unknown.
