Pet Not going away even after Deletion

As stated.
In PVP, pets get you killed when you are stealthed. So naturally I had a pet out and then deleted it from inventory and it was still following me.
I deleted this item from my inventory, yet the pet still follows me. I re log, I restart, I shutdown my computer, BUT THIS PET STILL FOLLOWS ME.
Pet: Razaks Opus (Dwemer Spider)
It doesn't leave me alone.

Venithar✭✭✭Yea, it's totally annoying trying to do stealth fights with this guy around. He gives away the location of our entire group (then again, this could be anyone with a vanity pet). I sure wish pets went all stealthy with their owners....

summon a new pet, then properly dismiss him. thats what fixed mined

How do you dismiss a pet? This is a serious question, I can't see it in the pulldown when I right-click (there's only destroy, report, post in chat or something along those lines). And I don't want to destroy it.

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭All of the vanity pets have "Use" in the menu. Click it once to have it follow and annoy you, click "use" again and it goes poof back into inventory.1
