One Sub for both PC & X1/PS4 ?

I plan on getting a version for the X1. I have a great group of friends playing on PC, But my brothers are more casual and only play X1. I know I will be buying a copy for the consoles as expected. But will my subscription be able to be used on both systems? My thoughts on this are:
1. On the PS where they aren't forcing you to have PS+ to subscribe. That's great and all, but does that mean Sony is taking a cut out of this? If this is the case I'd expect to have to create another sub account.
2. For the X1 you are forced to have xbox live. No big deal, who doesnt. But because we are paying them for their live services already, I assume Zenimax is getting full cut of the 15$.
Now with the Xbox Ones case. Id like to think Id be able to have one subscription for both accounts. Knowing Lives restrictions I know I wont be able to access any characters or in game content from my pc stable. As the X1 will have its private ecosystem.
If I have to pay two subscriptions, I feel that may be a little much, forcing me to play a hand I'd rather not. Although I am perfectly fine with buying two copies. It is an incredible game and worth such. Possibly might get the Imperial Edition again for the X1 as well.
I hope that's not to much to digest. Just a question I've had looming since the consoles launch is looming. I have looked for my answers but haven't been able to find a sniff of an answer.

Yeah thats how it will be, and im fine with it. Xbox users will only be playing with Xbox users and PS with PS. Im just hoping that I can have one sub for both consoles.

Zenimax wants to make it so you don't need playstation plus or xbox gold to have access to the game on consoles, but that still means you have to pay the actual subscription price of the game. How that is fairing, I do not know. But I do know that you will have to pay the base subscription fee. That isn't subject to change.

Daverios✭✭✭✭As confirmed yes 2 subs needed. Its a terrible business choice that will hurt those worlds population. I expect them to pull a 180 on this shortly before consoles go f2p due to poor populations. Console people will plainly never pay a sub for a single game, this is a foreign concept to them. Lets agree to bring this up again in say August after consoles been out two months I would put real money on the popultions being very sparse.

Since forever. Technically speaking a mac is no more different than an xbox is to pc when it comes to running a peice of software. By all definitions they are different platforms.
What OP is really getting at and I agree with is why are consoles not treatef like regions when it come to subscription like the EU does. Afterall a person can only phyically play one at a time. Just like NA vs EU.
This is the literal equivalent of charging separate subs for NA and EU. As a person who has 2 pc accounts and 2 pc subs and a person who bought day 1 xbox I would not pay another. Not a matter of funds but one of principal.

That is exactly what I was getting at. Its not far fetched to ask for this. Final Fantasy XIV does this. One account, One Sub. Still have to purchase the game for both platforms. You dont need to mention that they have the same characters playable on all platforms or anything simlilar.
