Magicka & Race (Imperial)

Race matters some say and other say just play what you like it wont matter! So why is that?

Lets say you wanted to focus on class abilities (say a sorcerer) and focus on DPS:

High Elf:

* Increase Magicka recovery in combat by +9%
* Increase max Magicka by 10%
* Increase damage of Fire, Frost and Shock by 6%

Imperial:

* Increase max health by 10%
* Increase max stamina by 10%
* when hit by physical attacks 10% chance to gain HP

How does race not matter?

Lol they say race doesn't matter because when you get to 50 or VR1-10 you can iron out these slight inequities with powered up gear, overcharging softcaps, and using glyphs and enchantments, unless you are a min/maxer then you don't need to worry, like i say by time you get to endgame these bonuses will mean very little

VR is Veteran Rank, when you get to 50 you can then "level" still lol, you can then start gaining veteran ranks up to VR10 currently, still stay at 50 but more powerful

I have an Imperial sorcerer focused on DPS, she's just reached level 20 and feels quite powerful. I don't at all get the feeling of being gimped.

Also, some of the Imperial bonuses can be useful for a mage as well, particularly if they're the squishy sort.
