Using spells/auto-attacks too fast will cause your spells/auto-attacks to do no damage

I have noticed that if I use a spell or auto-attack and try to auto-attack or use another spell to fast after it, the previous attack will do no damage at all, even if it looks like it hits them on my screen. It happens all the time too and it's starting to drive me crazy.

My dual wield Nightblade hits pretty fast and I have not noticed this. I see a complete miss once in a while is all. This is at level 43.

Although I do not auto attack much but am almost always using a magicka or stamina skill.

The reason I usually do not use normal weapon attacks (except for the bow) is because if a 3 mob pack does not die quick with burst skills, then I probably will.

i will have to try to duplicate your problem on a troll (or something) that has high health but does not do too much damage.

Can easily be reproduced when casting Flurry (dual-wield) and immediately queuing an heavy attack. Flurry will be "interrupted" near the last hit and the last hit won't do damage. If you have upgraded to Rapid Strikes, interrupting the skill Flurry anytime will still grant the buff but the damage won't be done.

I assume it would work similarly with any spell... so if there's only 1 burst of damage (unlike Flurry) and you're "interrupting" the spell with an attack, the spell won't do damage...

More testing would be needed, I just wrote that because it happens to me all the time.
