Received Beta Monkey and Explorer Pack Scuttler and Maps for the....3rd Time.

Hey Guys,

Just to let you know I have, again, just received my Beta Monkey and Explorer Pack item for the third (3rd) time. I have not transferred these to my character. They are still in my mail. I believe this issue will need addressing. Thank you.

    Same with me. 3 sets of Explorer Pack goodies. Just took 1 ring of Mara. Was interesting in taking more, yet would be an exploit. Sent ingame bug report.

    From what I've read some customer service reps have accidentally mailed these out twice to more than just you, it happened to me too (they sent to the NA server replacements instead of to the EU, when I asked them to correct it they never bothered deleting the NA ones).

    These are not items that have been duped through use of an exploit, and so long as you have not bought or sold gold or griefed your fellow players at spawn points I don't think you really have anything to worry about.

    Wish these had been sent to all characters, rather than being cheesy and making it once per account. Talk about being cheap. :p

    I deleted them...also reported. I think. It was a while ago now. I kept what I paid for and deleted the duplicates. It doesn't seem fair to exploit that they have been received 3 times over.

    I wish I got mailed duplicates... I do plan on having alts at one point :(

    I never even use the pets. I find them more annoying, unless it's my clannfear and twilight by my side. Cosmetic animals only sit in my inv and do nothing. Treasure maps are fun finding though :)

    Now there's honest, and there's silly. They're virtual items, for god's sake, no one loses anything if you use one single extra one sent through no fault of your own. It's not an exploit, and I sure won't be deleting mine. That extra ring of Mara will let one of my Alts get the happiness he deserves with a cute little wood elf he has his eye on. Why should my Main be the only one wearing a ball and chain?

    Is your bank OK? Re-mailed explorer/imperial/beta items was one of the frequent co-occurences with the bank wipe bug. Supposedly fixed with today's patch, but...

    I understand completely and that's fine for you if that what you want to do :) But, I don't fare that way. I'm not really playing this for vanity pets that do nothing in retrospect. I have my monkey and my scuttler. I don't want three of each taking up valuable inventory space for crafting mats.

    My bank is fine. I did buy the first bank upgrade and lost it. Luckily I wasn't above 59 slots when the bank reset bug hit me, so I lost nothing. I chose to sit it out and buy no more upgrades until it was fixed. I still haven't bought any bank upgrades after the patch. I'm sitting that one out for a while :)

    To think i've had a ticket in for the past 2 weeks to get my beta pet back...
    Thankful for the 30 days free is all im saying.

    Brilliant - some of you get multiple monkeys while I've been waiting over 2 weeks for them to give me back the one I accidently deleted during early access. :sadface:

    This is funny to me, because I put in a ticket about needing the treasure maps which got deleted along with a character I remade (they were bound to character and I couldn't stick them into bank) and have received no help at all.

    Still need the maps.

    This happened to my boyfriend a few days ago. He received a second set of Explorer pack goodies only to find the ones he already had in his bank were gone (along with some bank slot upgrades). So he went ahead and claimed the new ones.

    He's been kinda antsy about it since, especially since the recent mass ban attributed to duping, as he had already used a couple of CE maps and the ring of Mara.

    In hindsight maybe he should have reported it.
