"This code requires elder scrolls online"

First off, I'll go ahead and say I've been looking for quite some time now and have yet to find anything that really helps. So any help to my question is greatly appreciated.

So I have the physical copy of the explorer's pack, and went to redeem my code to set up my subscription. However, when I did it responded with the phrase "this code requires elder scrolls online." Well, I obviously have the game as it was up in the background for when I could jump in so I was wondering if anyone knew if this problem was rampant or maybe I am just missing something?

Now I didn't purchase the Physical pack, so keep that in mind.

Are you using the correct code?
Make sure that there isn't a game code, and then the Explorer's pack code is a different number.

Also, I can only assume that you've completely updated the game client, correct?

You're using the wrong code.

You get two codes with the game. Your activation key and your explorer pack. Use the activation key to set up your subscription, then add the explorer pack code after you activated the game.

Well lookey here, I done found me a game code! /facepalm

Apparently I threw the registration code with the package when I opened it. Thanks for the help, friends. Sorry to have wasted your time
