How have some low levels completed the vampire quest?

Yesterday i was out when the bloodfiends where. I got vampirism and got the quest. Now I've heard a couple people completed the quest at such a low levels like 7+. I'm a level 15. Now a 16 but when i went to do the quest i couldn't do defeat the level 42 guys. I mean I would get there health maybe down a quarter of the way but that is all. So how have other people who where lower level then me complete it?

You did well to get their health 25% of the way down tbh .
Rake worm is correct. Port to the quest areas and your big bad high level guildies/buddies steam roll everything while you tag along.

I soloed yesterday at lvl 21, my guild mate soloed at lvl 19.
The way we did it is that we used DoT's on those guys and just kite them at the stairs in the 1st room.

Put DoT's on them, run up the stairs, jump down from the middle.
They run the stairs back down while DoT's are ticking on them.
Re-apply DoT's when you see them down the stairs again, run back up and jump down from the middle.
Rinse and repeat until they're dead.

Also, they respawn so just keep killing the one near the campfire and the one up the stairs. After you've killed ten, get killed and respawn at the wayshrine. Quest done.

I was able to do it with my lvl 8 dual wield nb. Died quite a few times but it can be done. Using recovery for all three stats helps immensely.

I think there is some confusion in this thread.

If you got the dissease from a bloodfiend at low level, there are two situations where you need to fight level 42's

1: on the way to the shrine.
2: in the instance.

to get to the shrine you likely need someone to escort you at that level. Even with all the hate and spite, I do think that asking in mapchat will help finding someone. The "good" guys know that helping a vampire getting started will mean you can bite others pretty soon too.

Once you reached the shrine you need to do the instance. that is something you need to do solo.
The instance is somewhat scaled cause your vampire abillities (you wil lget them inside after doing some talking and a ritual) are scaled for a level 42. The baddies are not scaled down though, so you need to avoid thier dps. So It is advisable to use a ranged weapon (if needed obtain it on another character, mail it to a friend and have them "bounce it" so the mail returns to you. That way you dont have to find a new escort to the srhine). The foes deal melee damage, so kite them around when your vampire skills are on cooldown and use your ranged weapon to deal some damage. It might take you longer, but it is perfectly possible that way.

There are literally no enemies on the way to the vampire shrine. Lastly, the instance scales now so it's easier than when I did it with a level 3 a month into launch.

This is not true.

When I bite guildies I usually stick around at the shrine. You don't wanna know how many people rush in with a foe on thier tails. There are litterally 100's of enemy's on the way. And though you can avoid all off them, it is a risky bussiness and you will likely not succeed at your first try.

Also, the instance does NOT scale. I wonder if you even ever did it.
The vampire skills given to you are scaled to the level of the instance. the instance itself is for level 38 and so is the quest and so are the foes. Yes it is totally doable for a low level, but not cause the instance is scaled, but cause the vampire skills given to you are.
