What Race(s) and What Faction(s) do you dislike or hate the most

ursacorb14_ESO
Alrighty everyone has a faction(s) and Race(s) they like. I want to know just the opposite which one(s) do you dislike or hate the most and why?

Or even a race your were looking forward to playing, but now are disappointed in. In my case it's the Argonians, why is very simply. One of the best things about them was their ability to breath under water, well currently in ESO you can't do that. And are they still resistant to poison yes a little but it was the water breathing that I liked about them, it allowed them to search placed where others found it very very dangerous.

I've always found any form of anthropomorphic cats creepy.

No complaints about lore, mechanics, or anything like that. Just creepy.

I mean, what if I walked by with catnip? :o

Okay so what would you race wise replace them with?

I'm thinking that is kind of what moon sugar is based off of. It's ESO industrial catnip.

And as far as the "Furry" community goes, I am hoping it doesn't go that direction in ESO. I know it has gone that way in other MMO's, so let's keep out fingers crossed .

Well you don't know that argonians can't breathe underwater in this game. I believe they can!

I don't hate on any races, I'm just swell like that.

The Ebonheart storyline made me hate the Covenant on a very visceral level. >:(

I don't hate any race, but there is one I don't find particularly interesting. Orcs. I've never played one in any TES game, and I likely never will. There's nothing wrong with them: imo, it's just a question of style. I'm just drawn to the nimble and magicky races more than the big brutes.

Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"

Don't hate, just have a bias against the altmer and the Aldmeri Dominion.

The non-egotistical altmer are few and far between. The rest have the 'let me look down on the lesser races' thing going. And the AD is having the hardest time of the three addressing their racism.

It's present in DC and EP, but not as ... well, in your face. The AD's initial main questline deals with the fact that there's an entrenched group of nobles and such that are trying to oust the Queen because she's actually FRIENDLY with 'lesser' races.

DCs main questline? 'Oh, we have necromancers. And bad daedra worshippers. Azura's nice and we love Meridia. Nocturnal and Molag Bal can go sit on a pike. And more necromancers. With a side of vampires. But not THESE vampires, they're the good ones. Just THESE vampires. Oh, wait, we got more necromancers now.'

It certainly made my Bosmer sorcerer want to start deep frying some high elves in beta.

My current Khajiit doesn't seem to mind as much, though.

I can't say I hate any of them. I wouldn't mind swapping my Nord's and my Orc's setting though. All the Druidry touches in the DC would mesh better with my Nord, and EP might not feel so alien to my nonhuman Orc.

Running a Bosmer Nightblade through Auridon has made me -loathe- the Altmer. Well, most of them, at least. Doing the quest at the 'finishing school' just sealed the deal.

I never cared for High Elves much to begin with but the Veiled Heritance quest line turned mild antipathy to active disgust.

As for the other factions, sure there is friction but even the EP's Dunmer / Argonian rift isn't nearly so hateful and vicious as that between the Altmer and -every other race, evar!-.
Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.

I hate the Altmer. Part of that prejudice was formed in Skyrim, and part of it through playing Khajiit and Bosmer characters in AD.
I don't even like the queen. She brags about how she was a warrior, but she can't fight worth a damn. She whines about "the things she endures for her people" or something when you're the one doing all the work!

I don't like any of the beast races...at least not as PCs. Just too genre-breaking for me.

But if we have to have them I'm glad they are at least rendered realistically...meaning they are not cartoony in the way WoW or EQ was.

Okay, what genre-break do you see? (Keep in mind they've been in Elder Scrolls since the beginning).

And 'realistically' also varies. They were digitigrade in Morrowind and Oblivion, then went plantigrade for Skyrim and ESO.

Well, there are actually several variations of Khajiit. Suthay-raht, Suthay, Cathay, Tojan, and one or two others. I think the variation is moon dependent on the lore I have read. That of course doesn't explain the change in argonian anatomy.

Cartoony was never was part of Elder Scrolls. Also, how do you define 'realistically' with a fantasy race? Either works.
Well, there are actually several variations of Khajiit. Suthay-raht, Suthay, Cathay, Tojan, and one or two others. I think the variation is moon dependent on the lore I have read. That of course doesn't explain the change in argonian anatomy.
There are effectively 16 khajiit races, half of them bipedal, of which only two are digitigrade (that I remember). However, that doesn't explain why you don't see digitigrade khajiit in Morrowind in ESO, despite being second era (Morrowind and Oblivion being third era)

And no, it doesn't explain argonians.

As a long time Khajiit player - back to Morrowind - I think that the best Khajiits were rendered in Skyrim - in terms of what appealed to me as realistic. When I saw the first pictures of Khajiit's in Skyrim, I was like right on! But I wasn't too disappointed in early releases. If anything, it was the poor Orcs suffered with their bright green skill in earlier releases - and they, too, looked awesome in Skyrim.

I actually the race I disliked in Morrowind and Oblivion - and continue to dislike - wood elves. Oh, I know, they have a better appearance now but their dietary choices make me nauseous.
