I've always found any form of anthropomorphic cats creepy.
No complaints about lore, mechanics, or anything like that. Just creepy.
I mean, what if I walked by with catnip?

I'm thinking that is kind of what moon sugar is based off of. It's ESO industrial catnip.
And as far as the "Furry" community goes, I am hoping it doesn't go that direction in ESO. I know it has gone that way in other MMO's, so let's keep out fingers crossed .
It's present in DC and EP, but not as ... well, in your face. The AD's initial main questline deals with the fact that there's an entrenched group of nobles and such that are trying to oust the Queen because she's actually FRIENDLY with 'lesser' races.
DCs main questline? 'Oh, we have necromancers. And bad daedra worshippers. Azura's nice and we love Meridia. Nocturnal and Molag Bal can go sit on a pike. And more necromancers. With a side of vampires. But not THESE vampires, they're the good ones. Just THESE vampires. Oh, wait, we got more necromancers now.'
I don't like any of the beast races...at least not as PCs. Just too genre-breaking for me.ursacorb14_ESO wrote: »Alrighty everyone has a faction(s) and Race(s) they like. I want to know just the opposite which one(s) do you dislike or hate the most and why?
Okay, what genre-break do you see? (Keep in mind they've been in Elder Scrolls since the beginning).SadisticSavior wrote: »But if we have to have them I'm glad they are at least rendered realistically...meaning they are not cartoony in the way WoW or EQ was.
Original D&D had only humanoid races, and I liked it that way.Okay, what genre-break do you see?
So what? I hate cartoony graphics. I don't care if it was done previously...I am glad to see it gone. And 'realistically' also varies. They were digitigrade in Morrowind and Oblivion, then went plantigrade for Skyrim and ESO.

And ... this isn't D&D. Also, rakshasa.SadisticSavior wrote: »Original D&D had only humanoid races, and I liked it that way.
Cartoony was never was part of Elder Scrolls. Also, how do you define 'realistically' with a fantasy race? Either works. So what? I hate cartoony graphics. I don't care if it was done previously...I am glad to see it gone.
There are effectively 16 khajiit races, half of them bipedal, of which only two are digitigrade (that I remember). However, that doesn't explain why you don't see digitigrade khajiit in Morrowind in ESO, despite being second era (Morrowind and Oblivion being third era)pysgod1978b14_ESO wrote: »Well, there are actually several variations of Khajiit. Suthay-raht, Suthay, Cathay, Tojan, and one or two others. I think the variation is moon dependent on the lore I have read. That of course doesn't explain the change in argonian anatomy.

I may be wrong, but I think he meant they used to be less "cartoony" than they now are.
