Saints✭✭Seems like its bugged, but would be nice to get an official response on this.
As far as those saying to /camp, when you re-log sometimes you'll get put on a different instance of the server so there is a possibility that you're going to a version of the server that the event works.
Best chance to get it would be right after server restarts or maintenance in hopes that it resets the spawn. Good luck!Edited by Saints on April 28, 2014 3:54PM0 -
As the maintenance was performed today there's no monkey and the boss spawns. Just completed

dahak777✭It was broken for me too, showing only the ghost monkey. what I had to do was log out, wait about 5 min, log back in (for different server instance) and then was able to do it. may have to try a few times

✭every time i reach the place there's a ghost monkey there and a lot of people, like waiting for hours for something to happen. when do i know that is safe to wait? should the monkey be there or not? i've been trying to log out and in a few times but the monkey is always there and it's impossible to kill. do i need to do something first to start it?0 -

I tried this two days ago and also yesterday night (EU megaserver), and I couldn't complete the quest. The monkey ghost is there and the boss doesn't spawn.0 -

Still broken on may 14th. I tried every single method reported in this topic and had no success. The "/camp" method won't work, and every time i logged on, also after the last maintenance, it was still bugged. Freaking monkey is driving me mad.0
