Game changing the keyboard language

As in the title, this game for some reason keeps changing the language ingame. Which renders me unable to switch to secondary weapons and some other keybinds. communication a bit more annoying, since I have to try every combination in order to find the right symbol i'm looking for it's getting a bit annoying now.

The game changes the language from Nordic / Swedish into a Brittish one, and it only does so ingame and the normal language is still in place outside of ESO.
The problem happens at random within the game and usually a logging out and back in again fixes it, but it's still a problem.

I also have this problem , keyboard changes from english to german?!?!!?

can re log to get ride of issue but was hoping some one would know a real solution

If you haven't already submit a /bug in game.

Not a bug I have seen on these forums yet so I can't link you any relevant information, you could try doing a repair on the game client, checking keybinds in the game, double check if windows has dual language running and your switching there as well.

Otherwise I hope you get some GL attention in the thread and solve the issue.

maybe a bug, but you can simply switch between keyboard language by pressing Shift+Alt.
mostly the keyboard language switches, because you press those two buttons simultaneously

Well those are one of the default controls for changing keyboard language on Windows (linky) so it could be PC related rather than game related, something worth double checking and if it is only in game it happens submit a bug report about it.

Same problem here... and it only happens when i enter Cyrodiil.

Just out of curiosity, what is it set to in the launcher?

Just in case you're not sure where to check, click the gear looking icon in the top right corner, should bring up the settings.

Yes this is most likely the cause and I used to have this happen on most of the games where you use shift to run and alt to something else. Eventually got tired of this and went to the settings and disabled the whole feature. There is also possibility to change the keys for this action.

I believe you are having an issue with hotkeys for input languages. As default Shift + Left ALT changes the input language order. Since we use both these two buttons constantly for menus and sprinting it is pretty easy to simultaneously press them. You can menage these settings and change in
ControlPanel->Language settings and disable it.

If you are using Windows 8 or later versions it is a little harder to change it thou
ControlPanel->Clock,Language and Region->Language->Advanced Settings->Change Language Bar Hot Keys->Advanced Key Settings->Change Key Sequence and disable Shift + Left ALT

You can still switch between multiple languages pressing WindowsKey+Space thou if you need to.

Hope this will help, actually it worked for myself to prevent switching weapon.

I thought this had something to do with the game client, but appearantly it is a windows issue. Thanks for the solution and apologies for the "gravedigging".
