so I patched through the launcher this morning and waited for a game time card to arrive to activate my account.
put in the code and wow it all went smoothly great thought I.
clicked on the shortcut for the launcher nothing happened so clicked it again came up with a message "only one instance of the launcher can run at a time" or something like that.
I can run the game through the zenimax folder but that will become a pain everytime did the patch break something ?
anybody else had this happen ?

djodars✭✭✭Try killing the process in the task manager and opening the launcher again... or restarting your computer.
Only solution I can think of about this. Everything should work correctly.
You could also look in your installation folder (Program Files\Zenimax Online\Elder Scrolls Online\Launcher\
to see if the files are there. If they aren't, re-install I guess.2 -
Hyperventilate✭✭✭Sounds like you got a silent hang or for some reason the loader didn't launch. Definitely kill it via the task manager & try again.1 -
