I understand this is a new game, it's bound to be complex and have it's issues, but seriously. Have you ever heard of customer service? You know, where your customers can contact you, get answers OR where you comunicate with them, inform them, keep them updated?
_Everything_ about this is handled poorly (to be nice) and if you don't have a clue to whats wrong, well fine, just TELL us that. No silence, just be honest. And for the love of everything, read murphy's law. "If it works, leave it alone" - There was no need to break chat, guild, login and what not now. THAT could have waited until your scheduled maintenace tomorrow.
I hope you see that your customers are ready to jump ship unless you actually do something. I won't bother to with the "I pay for this so.. bla bla" - Just remember that you have chosen to place the EU server in the US, meaning it can be quite costly for you to not deliver the product promised, despite start-up problems, you can not be ignoring your customerbase. Gross neglience is probably not a good way to spend all the money we gave you; first with our purchase, then with the creditcard thing that didn't release funds back..
Just get it together Zenimax or spend our money hireing someone who knows what they are doing. Please!
