CAN'T OPEN LAUNCHER! RESOLVED RUN AS ADMIN

Everytime i try to open the launcher i get:
ABORT: Pointer is NULL (..\cef\clienthandler.c/648)

Error code :/ Anybody knows what to do?
tried to install the game again, didnt work!

    I have the same problem.
    Starting from my desktop didn't work, so i go to the directory and launch the game from the directory, instead of using the launcher

    I have the same problem. Now i enter to the game through Install_ESO.

    i've done that too... but when it needs to update i can't log in, and need to uninstall the game to get it updated :/

    Bump, does anyone know if there's an .ini file or .manifest file that can be tweaked to fix this? @donlonge, you might be better in the PC Tech support subforum. Have you opened a support ticket? There will be a wait, better to get that started now even fi we can come up with fix.

    See, your wait time could be anywhere from an hour to 3 days, so better to get it started now.

    DON'T reply to the email you get for your ticket, UNLESS a CRS rep closes the ticket. It APPEARS currently the policy is for tier 1 reps to offer the best solution they can think of and close the ticket as resolved without waiting for a reply. At THAT point, if it's not fixed, reply to the email and it will escalate.

    If you reply BEFORE the ticket gets seen and responded to, you risk getting entered as a re-opened ticket and dropping to the bottom of the queue.

    I had the similar problem. I cured it by checking "always run as Administrator” box in the shortcut options.

    It's all anecdotal, don't take it as the gospel truth. It's just what I pieced together during my wait. There are some people out there working to get stuff fixed, but it's all a mess. Nothing to do but hunker down and wait. \o/
