• PC/Mac: No maintenance – December 16
• NA megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)

Why patch in EU primetime?

Didnt you know what time it is in EU? i loose a lot of interest every time its not work at primetime EU.

    Its an emergency mainstance. So calm down.
    The main story quest is bugged, so veteran content and everything are blocked atm. So a fix is extremly needed.

    So this maintance should fix alot of problems that we have atm.

    they dont ever give us notice, maybe advertise maintenance times in the launcher. I got everything out of the way at home, and started playing at 3:00, for half an hour, if id known in advance, i could have played earlier.

    Did you know the primetimes? I personaly think, that wednesday early afternoon and sunday morning (if nesessary) isn`t primetime. Not in NA and not in EU.

    Because they are at work in America. They have regular jobs and work office hours same as anyone else.
    They don't want to work at night and why should they?

    Nothing stopping you playing at night instead.

    primetime is when people get home from work or kids from school.. which is about now.

    its kinda stupid i pay to play not to wait for patching up, i sincerly understand that this is neccessary but why in godsname do it in prime time for the europian server why not at 6am or something. and it has nothing to do with regular working times as well.

    it would also recommend a countdown ingame. from 30minutes then 20,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and then from 30 seconds countdown.

    would save allot of frustration and people cant complain about not informed when ingame.

    its because Zenimax is an american company. When europe makes and develops there own AAA mmos they can have maintenance friendly to them.

    Emergency maintenance happens when it needs to happen. I am in the US and have played quite a few MMOs. I have had to leave a game more times than I can count for it. Even older, well established games occasionally have to be taken down in the middle of the afternoon for a fix. You have to learn to live with it or stop playing MMOs altogether.

    If this is their attitude then I highly recommend that they completely scrap the EU mega server and make us all play on the clearly "superior" NA mega server.

    EU customers, like myself, should not have to be treated as second class citizens regardless of where the game was developed. They have two servers assigned for two different geographical location in the world. It doesn't take a genius to plan maintenance around the locations these servers are designated for.

    Yeah Except other international companies like Blizzard's WoW (Based in the US) and ArenaNet's Guild wars 2 (Based in South Korea)
    manage just fine with timing main

    I think no problem more, last 2 Big updates where early morning here, so they Lissens to us ,nice!
