Sorcerer - Pets attack Crowd Controled Mobs

Title says it all. Our pets attack Mobs in Crowd Control.

Since there is no way to actually control the pets, this needs to be adressed IMMEDIATELY.

Right now pets are completely useless because of that.

    Did you make a /bug report from the game - preferably one with a screenshot? I believe (as I have no way of knowning for certain) that the devs look at the bug reports more than at these forums.

    I actually did....two months ago in Beta. And I´m pretty sure so did approcimatly 100.000 other Sorcerers.

    We complained about this on the PTS also. Pets are pretty much useless for anything outside of solo questing. We asked for pet control. I'm still hoping that one day we will have more control over them.

    Although it could indeed be a mechanic, it still seems silly to me to give the same class both a pet (which one cannot control) and an entire ability tree with crowd control abilities.

    However I have yet to see any response from Zenimax to any of the problems mentioned on the forums, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Hopefully they pick it up and we'll see it in the release notes of an update in a while.

    For everything else - how about no? Currently sorcs are balanced without pets, this change you want would mean that every sorc becomes a power multiplier. No, no, no and no. Pets are good if they are useless in pvp and group content, play your sorc not /afk your way through with too clever pets.

    Dude, there is an entire Skilltree wrapped around the pets, and you are saying they are not designed for 80% of the Content?
