1. There is no category on the Forum for Feedback for the Forum. So I'm posting this in support as that's the closest I could find.
2. It's currently very difficult to go back to topics we've participated in. During Beta there was a Participated link in the right-side navigation bar; now we have to go to our profile, choose our posts, then click on the topic for each post. This really makes it difficult to have a coherent conversation.
3. Right now, "Recent Discussions" is effectively spammed by Customer Support requests. This is not a complaint about those requests; those people have genuine concerns, especially regarding account, access, and billing issues. But a lot of people on the forums don't have support needs, and don't see the same issues. So they're coming here and seeing all of these complaints, and are unable to start effective conversations about the game, because they get bumped off the recent discussions list almost immediately by the never-ending support requests. Ideally, Customer Support requests would be separated from the rest of the forums, so people who need support can go to one place and see all recent support requests, while those who want discuss the game can go elsewhere and see recent non-support-related discussions. Lumping the two groups together leads to frustration and resentment.

Agreed. What's also a problem is that if you participated in the beta and made any threads, they show up under "my discussions" as a number (says I have 22 discussions) but I can only see 2 of them. That needs to be changed.
Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

AFAIK there's literally no way to appeal any judgement made by any member of the forum staff.
What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?

I would at least like to have the classical see New Posts option...

EDIT (10 sec. later) : ok, just discovered the Recent Discussions link ; not very obvious (did not see these last two months)

Agreed. I need a better way to find and get an overview of the threads that I have participated in. It would also be nice with some kind of notification when someone quotes you. Only way to discover that now is if you manually go back and check and read every comment after your previous comment to each of the threads that you have participated in.

And yes....we neeeeeeeeeeed a general discussion section. That would cut away a big part of the current threads in Customer Support. By now this IS the General discussion section with the occasional support question thrown in. There are already several threads about this and I don't understand why it's so hard to add an extra section to the forum. I would think it would also make life easier for the support staff to only get support requests in one place and nothing else.

I have one suggestion . People like to be involved in forum discussion and thats why they participate after all . I think these forums need feature which will give me notice that someone addressed ( quoted my text ) my post. That feature should give me shortcut to see what that guy replied to me and send me mail accordingly . That feature will for sure increase discussion dynamics .
