Frustrating melee fighting Mechanic
Often times when I am engaged in a battle, i get into a melee situation when my 2-handed character is swinging right in front of the mob and i don't connect a hit. I swing for several times and miss while they continue to do damage. then I die. Did a spell get cast on me that nullifies my hits or something?
its super frustrating because I don't know what is happening. if I knew it was a spell or what spell it was, I could plan for that kind of attack. but its just kind of random and gets expensive to repair my gear....

After playing a while, I think that I've figured out what's happening. if youre too close to the mob, you will miss them. I have a greatsword. It's super long and I think it's reach goes behind the mobs if I'm too close....
I find that if I back up a little off of the mob, I can connect a blow once again. But continually having to find that sweet spot in the middle of a fight gets me killed often. -

heh, yeah. I thought it was a bug at first.... it yet may be something they want to adjust. I'll let them decide where it goes

Heishi✭✭✭✭✭I haven't noticed this much, but I usually don't get to close enemies incase I need to dodge something.
There actually is a NB ability that causes melee attacks to miss for a short time (don't know if this applies to enemy abilities or not though).And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.
