If you purchased from someone other than Zenimax you have to first put in the game key that came with the game. As soon as I entered that it asked me for the additional info.

I bought an early acess copy of the game wich came with a game key that i already used a few days ago, if i try to use the same code again it says invalid code and i dont have any other code.

Was the game key you registered a pre-order early access key or was it an actual game registration key? If it was a game registration key the website would have required you to set up a subscription right then and there.
  • lazemomentum
    same with me! have pre-order
  • morphin
    morphin
It was pre order. Inside the case it only had a card with the one code to be redeemed. Once i used that i went from beta access to both beta access and early access. But then earlyer today the game crashed and then i started getting a message that said my log in password was wrong, but i could log in fine in the website, and has it turns out the early access had ended and i had to create my sub plan, something i cant do because i cant find that option anywere.

I am having the same problem as above - I cannot enter my game code because I already used it to gain early access to the game and now there is no option to change my subscription plan at all.

    PLEASE HELP

^^^ Same issue as all of you. Tried all my from the 3rd party and none are valid. No way to alter sub. How about let us have access and you fix the problem Zenimax.

Same problem here, i opened a support ticket but have not gotten a response...I have an explorer's pack key that says "requires elder scrolls online" when i try to redeem it, and when i use the activation key that i already used for early access, it says "invalid key".

The exact same issue. I was only given one code when I order the digital version from GameFly. I used it for early access and now I can't redeem the game that I purchased? This is insane ...lol
  • rickeaston2b16_ESO
    And another one here.
Beta ->Early Access -> Try to set up sub: no option on A/C page to do so.
    Fail.

It honestly sounds to me like some of you have only redeemed an early access code. Some have said that you've redeemed the code to receive early access. Early access codes are separate from the game registration code. They are not the same.

What version of the game did you buy? Is it a physical or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, did you actually receive the physical game box? If it's a digital copy, have you actually received an e-mail from your retailer containing your full game registration code?

Same here, only I did not buy the digital but the boxed Imperial edition.

The early access key worked perfectly (until after supper today), and gave me all the benifits of the Imperial edition. So I expect to only have to setup a subscription, but - you guessed it already - I can not as this option is missing on my account page....

Yep same boat here. I've got a ticket open requesting either a direct link to somewhere I can set up the subscription or somebody from support to take my information manually. No option to do it through the account page currently. /sigh

I had the same issue as everyone here. What I had to do was log into the Amazon website where I bought the game. I then went to my Games and Software Library under My Account. Once there I was able to view the product keys associated with my preorder. I used the game key listed there to place into the Enter A Code option on the Account page of ESO. I hope this will help others with this issue.

This game launch is extremely bad compared to any other MMO I've played so far just because of this subscription requirement.

Honestly, we just opened our pre-purchased game disks and the exact same code was given inside. It was deemed invalid when entered.

I preorderd from greenmangaming and the only key I have it the one I entered for my preorder. Entering that just spits out an "Invalid Code" message. Completely ridiculous that you have to enter a key again to set up your subscription. How would I even have Early Access if I didn't buy the game...

Its a physical copy and it says on the cover that i get a bunch of things including 3 days ealry access and 30 days free trial

OK, I bought from Amazon. Got the Early Access code e-mailed. I had to log in to Amazon just now, go to "Your Account" and near the bottom is "Your Games and Software Library". Click that then find TES Online. I had to click a little "Terms and Conditions (maybe terms and services)" button, and the new codes popped up. One for the game and one for the Explorers pack. Entering the game code (at the "redeem code " button on your tes account page) took me straight to subscriptions, and did that and went back and redeemed the explorer pack too.
  • elvinmatos
Ordered from Gamefly and was only given one code for early access. No other codes were provided.

The issue I had was that there are 2 seperate keys. One unlocked the 3 day early access and the 2 ingame items you get. The second is the actual key for the game which I was never e-mailed. I had to manually log onto Amazon and find the key in my purchase history. Any decent online retailer will save your online keys for products you've purchased through them. I suggest that you go look around on the other website assuming it's a digital download purchase.

Just fixed mine. GameFly never sent me the actual game key via email, but when I logged in to my GameFly account all 3 keys (early access, imperial game, explorers pack) were there. If you didn't get your key from the vendor via email, try logging onto their site and see if its there.
  • rickeaston2b16_ESO
Exactly the same as Davallyn above. A physical boxed pre-ordered game from Amazon. The code under the scratch panel returns a "this code requires Elder Scrolls Online" message.
  • morphin

The copy of the game i bought only had 1 key inside the case wich gave me early access and that was it, i also got a confirmation email saying my gifts were waiting for me ingame but i never got them either.

This is what they told me after i redeemed the code that came with the game,

"Thank you for redeeming your pre-order code for The Elder Scrolls® Online. You're now registered for The Explorer's Pack, which includes the following digital rewards:

The ability to play as any race in any alliance
    The Scuttler vanity pet
    Exclusive treasure maps
    3 Days Early Access

You'll receive these digital rewards when you first log-in to The Elder Scrolls Online game at official launch. We'll also contact you at your account's registered email address with information about early game access as we get closer to game release in April 2014."

I ordered from greenmangaming as well, and hoping on the advice of some these others here who found the keys on the 3rd party site, I went to greenmangaming.com and they only show two of my keys:

    TESO BETA key

    TESO Imperial Edition key

No explorer's or any other key. And neither of those keys is valid when tried to redeem at account.elderscrollsonline.com.

Someone(s) dropped the ball here big time. Considering Sunday is a huge day for gamers. Admins please help out here.

Yea the only key I can see on my account with them is my preorder key. I've opened a ticket on their system to try and resend this "Main Game" key I seem to need. I still don't understand this multiple key craziness.

The same goes for Green Man Gaming - go to the website - log on and check your games and you will find 3 codes - take the one you haven´t used and enter that one. Then everything works.

This isn´t ESO´s problem but Green Man Gaming that missed the mail where they should have informed you of the missing Game code.
I bought from them aswell - and now the sub-screen shows on my computer :)

Hope it works for you :)
