Not sure where to put this and this seemed like the best place. There doesn't seem to be an area for this sort of thing otherwise.
Guildmasters need a way to limit the amount of withdrawals a members can make from guild banks, even if it's only for new members.
Many Guildmasters are afraid of new players joining and then cleaning out the bank. Giving them a way to limit the number of withdrawals over a set period of time would greatly help with managing guilds.
It would be nice if it was variable. Say limiting members to 1, 5, 10, or 15 withdrawals over 6, 12, 24, or48 hours.
As it is right now, the fear of getting cleaned out by players joining guilds simply to empty the bank is causing guildmasters to restrict access to the banks for most of the guild in some cases.
A crafter like me would be more than happy to dump a few low level items into the guild bank for free use by lower level players, but if they can't access them it does me no good and merely clutters up the available bank space.
It would be much easier to recruit and retain members if a safety net system of restricting withdrawals allowed Guildmasters who are justifiably fearful of getting cleaned out to open the bank up to new members more easily. It would create a much more accessible and friendlier environment.
I'd hate to be a Guildmaster and have to tell players that I don't want to give them access to the bank because I'm fearful they might clear it out and quit the guild. It's not very friendly, even if it is a justifiable concern.
I'm also not saying that the option for unrestricted withdrawals should be absent either. If someone wants to set their guild up that way, it should be available to them, but creating greater control over the bank for the Guildmaster would be better for Guilds on the whole.
