Lower survivability and sustain = quicker fights = less lag.

<irony>Yes, it is so enjoyable when DK whippers and Sorc Gankers are oneshotting characters!
Akatosh forbid that ZOS rents better servers for PvP gameplay or by the love of Mara, optimizes performance instead of tailoring the game system to a technical limitation!</irony>
I think Ravenwatch should be an option for those who want to participate. Me my self, I like the idea of having further character customization options, though I liked the old CP system that was more similar to Skyrim way better than the current one.

I guarantee that even if they did that (which would be a really bad thing), you would find other stuff to complain about.

If you're getting one shot in no-cp, you need to build tankier instead of crutching on CP.
I don't have any problems getting one shot in no-cp, nor do I have any problems killing people in no-cp. Champion Points simply inflate stats. That's bad for the game.

What about getting 14k triple shot by WHIP WHIP WHIP?
Run away you say? Oh yeah, subclassing and streak and max movement speed. LOL

I am not sure. We see people complaining about either damage being too high (i.e. DK/WW too OP as someone responded to you prior suggest 14k whip) or defense being too good (i.e. heals/shield stacking, WW too hard to kill) in BGs and CP campaign alike.

The issue is allowingplayers to make builds that"
Have great damage
Have great survivability
Have infinite sustain (never run out of stamina, magicka, like...EVER
Have insane movement speed
Have insane heal potential for self
Have insane heal other potentail
Its the literal desecration of the "Holy Trinity" of RPGs/MMOs.
And before you say "Play your way", that's not play your way. Thats have Everything with basically no drawback.
The build design needs to be gutted to force players to make CHOICES in the build. If you want a well-rounded build, it should never out perform a pure focused build.
In other words. If I choose 2x DPS sets I should out damage a "balanced" build that chooses 1 dps set and 1 survivability set.
That is simply not the case on ESO. And with CP, the sources of bonuses are too great. PVE goes for min-maxing, so pure DPS makes sense. In PVP the issue is 1 player can outperform a dozen+ players going all-out on damage. That would sound like a "TANK" build, but no, its a "!vXer" build aka a DEMI-GOD who can not only take the DPS, but turn around and flatten the entire 12 man team.
And don't start with the "skill issue" concept. The builds are flat out BROKEN and everyone knows it. This is why you see majority of players rolling the same freaking thing each patch. Because its BROKEN and you can win with it.
TL;DR: fix balance otherwise PVP will never be healthy.
And for that reason, I'm out!

Bro, relax and go play Vengeance. It was built for players like you.

Years of ignorance then lead to players losing faith in ZOS and when they too late restored Ravenwatch to not being no-proc anymore, the damage was way to severe and the old playerbase that had kept it alive was gone.
Vengeance isn't a solution and it was sold with false premises of being a "performance data collection test", and PvP without CP enabled is 10x more balanced than the opposite. Sadly I don't think ZOS will come with a solid solution for PvP anytime soon, and as much as I prefer nocp PvP, It's very unlikely we'll see Ravenwatch return anytime soon.

While I agree on your Vengeance statement, the solution IS NO CO PVP.
Literally make PVP no CP and it will be better. Just like BGs. People actually DIE when you target them.
