Champion Mob Indicator PLEASE!

Can't tell you how many times I've approached a mob(s) only to have them turn out to be 4-5 times more difficult than normal. In WOW terms these are, of course, Champion lvl mob types but there is often zero indicator that a mob is any different (sometimes the mob will be named instead of generic)

If you are going to display the mob lvl you might as well go that one extra step and have something that shows they are special. Doesn't have to be big and impressive like WOW, just an extra border around the lvl, bold text, SOMETHING please so I can make a conscious decision to attack or not.

Look on the map and you'll see a skull icon. This means the spot has an area miniboss ("champion" mob).

9 times out of 10 you won't see a map indicator......I can even give you 3 specific examples from just yesterday......

    1) I was in the Crow's Wood....killing Soul Wraiths and after the last group, a single mob appeared, it had a name (as I said above) but that's never a sure bet of anything.

There was also the Fire Guardian holding the key

    2) Was in stone falls and ran across a Skeleton Archer/Vampire. These two were out of the ordinary but I had no problems dispatching both. Then 2 other mobs appeared in their place (sorry can't remember their names but they were generic, One was again called" Skeleton Archer") but both were Champion lvl.

And that's just off the top of my head.

I don't think I've come across random champion mobs not in the skull areas.

Maybe some mobs get bugged and magically get their hp/attack increased, and you're hitting those?

Their health bar has that indicator already. The tougher the mob, the more "chevrons" they have on each side of their health bar. Up to 3 i believe.

Maybe someone will make an addon for it.

Though like I said in my last post up there, it looks more to me like you're running into bugged mobs, because random champion mobs aren't in the open world.

Hehe, ya its definitely there but if you don't know it you can oversee it indeed. I encountered mobs with 1 and 2 so far, those with 1 are fine solo, those with 2 are a bit tricky and usually need help of a other players.
