I bought my physical version of ESO from a retail store

Got my game registration code for ESO, the 30 day free trial. When I tried redeeming it, it says that I need a credit card or a paypal account to redeem it. Are you freaking serious?! That is the reason why I bought the physical one because I thought that you don't need freaking credit cards but no...!

Does anyone know how to redeem the code without using credit card or a paypal account. I'd appreciate if you guys can help me.

You have to set up a subscription account. They will authorize the card for 14.99, but the charge will be removed after a short period of time.

I don't think this helped me, I contacted the support like more than 7 times but no is answering my questions, I feel like I've wasted my money just for the early access then after that what happens? Nothing.

Try making a paypal with 0 funds. I used paypal and they didn't take the payment, just cancelled the request.

Currently there is no way to activate the game without using a form of payment whether it be Paypal, Debit, Credit or Time Card. You still need to add a form of payment for after your time has expired. I had to do the same thing when I played World of Warcraft I don't know why everyone is shocked about this. If you use a Credit or Debit Card it will just verify that the card works for the future payment if you use Time Cards or alternative forms of payment it will take it immediately and credit the game time to your count for a total of 60 Days (Your 30 Days Free and the 30 Days Game Time) meaning that unless you use a debit/credit card your going to have to pay the 14.99 a month fee up front for the 2nd month. On your Debit and Credit Card the payment will pend for however long it takes for your bank to credit the funds back to you.

But the thing is about paypal accounts is, it need to be attached to a credit card.

The Pending Check, Meaning he used a paypal with no money on it. He used it and they cleared him on to use his free time but since he had no money on his paypal the check failed so no funds are pending. It is a easy way to avoid having money tied up to the banks for the funds check and getting a "form of payment" on your account without actually have "a form of payment" on your account. AkA Cheating the System. Meaning when his 30 days expire he will have to manually add a new form of payment to his account rather than having it taken out of his paypal (which has 0 dollars in it)

I tried buying this PoS from Gameslave and the guy was so *** he couldn't figure out how to do a pre-order. That should've been the first red flag for what I was signing up for.

But you still need to attach a credit card to your paypal account just to continue redeeming.

To continue redeeming, yes but for the initial check which is what most people won't to avoid you don't. You can also change your payment options via your account page before next month when your 14.99 to prevent service interruption is due. Or you can alternatively add a game card to prevent needing a form of recurring payment before next month.
