movement glitch in beach on Auridon

I had somehow missed an early quest and went back to do it, the one where you go and free the marines and the captain and go set fire to the light house. Well, while I was moving across the beach to set free one of the captives, I ended up in a very weird glitch. I suddenly found myself up in the air, soaring above the land and then water, while being attacked by things I couldn't see. I eventually died and respawned, and the respawn took me quite a way away (to the wayshrine up past skywatch). I have no explanation to this, and didn't think to get a screen shot. I can tell you that the spot where this happened was just as I was approaching the rock pillars near the side of the dock heading out to the ship., I was approaching it from the side where you free the Captain.

I had similar bugs like these happen myself, but on other spots.
I have been "catapulted" into the sea about 3 or 4 times, where i died to slaughterfish. I've also been flung into the air and flew through the entirety of Tamriel until i reached the edge of the map and died.
