Good evening ESO support. Hope you're doing well.
First off, I have accepted the fact that I am being forced to use 1440x900 through the Mac client. Though I was able to get around this by playing on my Windows partition, however, as expected, I am unable to play at an appropriate graphics level, so there really is no point in playing at that resolution.
Regardless, in the 1440x900 resolution, in-game text is extremely blurry. Almost to the point of it being unreadable. The text looks like every non-optimized retina app does. Fuzzy and completely distracting.
I understand that using half the resolution means that I get half the definition, but there has to be a way to render text in a way that displays text crisply on my screen, while maintaining a lower in-game resolution.
After chatting another player through /zone, who was running the same configuration as me, he said his text is clean and crisp (along with two of his friends who also have 15" retina macs), so now I'm not really sure what to think.
Even the EOS launcher is blurry and non-retina optimized.
The bottom line is that it makes it extremely difficult to play the game when I have to squint and strain to read a simple chat. So, does anyone have a solution, or perhaps some insight as to whether you're experiencing the same issue as me?
Thanks for your time and assistance.
