The new dk is ABSOLUTELY overpowered in pvp.. its way too broken and they need to hurry up with the other class reworks, or tone dk down a lot..
    Former STAMINA NB DPS
Now just a 1hp wet noodle wielding failed and outdated class that still gets nerfed at every patch

Instead of nerfing DK I would rather them give the same power to all the classes

Then all classes would be too powerful instead of one, imagine the power creep. Would be even worse then when sub-classing came out. As much as most players seems to want the class to carry them instead of becoming good inn the game, Dks really needs to be adjusted to an healthy level. We had all the tools to do all parts of the game easly even before dk rework, sub-classing, scribing and etc. and still some players screaming for more

Meh, numbers can be easily adjusted across the board via Battle Spirit. I'd much rather every class have interesting and powerful abilities across their kit than have classes like Necro or Warden where their entire power budget is in 2 skills.

Infinite sustain? I'm running out of Magicka wearing wretched vitality as a Breton. I have to use Stamina skills just to balance all the DK buffs/skills that are heavy Magicka

No, I don’t think the numbers are too high, per se.

My issue isn’t with the DK class, it needed to be elevated. I think what so many people forget is that the DK class isn’t what received the upgrade, it’s some of the DK skills that were, that’s a whole different thing.

Many of these skills didn’t come with the “only if you’re a pure DK class” caveat like they should have.

I don’t see an issue with a DK having the delayed burst or sustain prospect that Soul Fame provides, it’s fine.

Where I begin to have concerns is when, for example, a crit meta base NB wants to slot these skills to their full potential, rather than being able to only subclasses a reduced version of these skills.

In the hands of a pure DK these skills are subject to class limitations which contribute toward some degree of balance. But in the full scope of subclass that isn’t the case and all that does is contribute more toward additional power creep which we don’t need.

The same goes for Whip / Lash, that’s another one that I’m fine with the numbers … for pure DK. .. but for a subclassed crit meta to slot Flame Lash right next to Surprise Attack, no, those numbers are ridiculous in that context.

See I dont like hybridization too and think that most healing skills are scaling with damage instead of Mag/Stam is a stupid design decision but as I wrote in the Lash thread you wont run dry when you use SoF on cooldown and raise your max mag. I have to occasionally use a tripot but thats mostly when I unexpectedly manouvered myself into a zerg or tunnelvisioned too much.....I did spent less then 50 pots sice the patch on DK.

Honestly all my characters are hybrid now. There's just no point in pigeon holing yourself into using only 1 resource when you have 2 resource pools.

I just find pure class DK particularly hard on Magicka. And Breton has 7% Magicka skill cost reduction. I can imagine how much worse it would be if I were any other race.

I don't mind hybridization per se, it's just allowing people to mix and match skills they otherwise wouldn't be able to.
I can agree with the healing scaling though. I don't see why healing should scale with weapon damage.
I do however like healing skills that scale with health.

If you're finding it hard to sustain, you need to raise your max mag and cast Heart Of Flame practically on cooldown. With ~30k max mag, Heart of Flame is more than enough to sustain infinitely. It's basically the equivalent of having 4k sustain when your pool is low, and about an extra 2.5k sustain at 50% mag.

Interestingly Cyrodiil has around the same percentage of DK players rn that voted for No in this poll, lol. Currently sits at ~70% No's and also around 70 - 80% DK players in Cyrodiil. What a coincidence xD
