Skin colors for the Orc and Altmer and hair color on the Altmer.
Why on Earth can I not have a nice, golden skin tone and "golden"/blonde hair on a high elf, and why aren't there greener options for Orc skin? These are traditional attributes of these races in the ES world. And on a far lesser level of irritation; it would be nice to be able to "white-out" an eye on characters :P

Hmm. Ok, I AM seeing greenish orcs now. Which colors are green in the customization. In CC, they are grey or pale.

Altmer can not even have black hair in this game. My Oblivion Altmer had light golden skin and black hair. Cant do that is ESO it seems. Almost was a deal breaker for me.

Lot of races lack red hair. Bummer. I love my red hair. I love making redheaded characters. :(

Hopefully a future patch will allow for 'surgery' and 'barbershops' because they are missing a LOT of customization.

+1 on the "surgery". I want a paler wood elf, who doesn't squint and looks wise and noble and calm. No matter how I try, I end up with a creepy guy that looks like he should be manning the Zipper at the local carnival.

Well, I remade my orc 2 more times before finally settling on a goldish-green look as I simply cannot find the actual green, traditional orc skin. However, I made him in the EP because he doesn't trust the Bretons and lives in Skyrim. (yeah Im an RP nerd who doesn't RP in game lol) So, his paler skin makes sense. I've seen other green orcs, though. It IS possible for sure. As far as Altmer goes, I DID find golden skin and blonde hair, eventually. It's just not obvious in the CC.

Daneyulebub17, you can do what you are trying to do. I made my Bosmer as fat as possible and he has huge, round eyes. He doesn't look wise and noble, though. He looks like a fat trouble maker. Just how I wanted him lol. You can definitely not have squinty eyes. In fact, I like the Bosmer look where the eyes are completely brownish black, with no white showing, and I was able to do so.

I dont think you can on an orc. Has really dark grey eyes, though.

I do wish we could have 2 different color eyes on all races, though, and the ability to "white out" one of the eyes. It will do it if you use certain helmets with the eye patch from the CC, but I'd like to have my orc have a scar and white eye.

Some races have a whited out eye in the section you pick head markings. Argonian is one.

In the character creation screen, they seem to always look better than they do in the real world, for some reason. I have achieved what I though was the proper look, only to be surprised when I zoom in on him in game and he looks like he's on his 3rd day of a meth bender.

If I go for the round eyed look, they start to look like aliens to me pretty quickly, at least in character screen. I guess it's a delicate balance, but honestly, looking at other people running about, especially the wood elves, I don't see many that I'd late date my sister. They all look like sketchy burn outs, serial killers or, if they went for the round eyed look, those huge pupiled, marsupials you'd find in Australia eating bugs.

Ah, you like the round-eyed marsupial look, huh? I guess wood elves do come from trees, come to think of it. Here's an in-game screen shot of my latest attempt at creating one:
