Seasonal Scribing Skills???

Except for the base game Scribing Skill,
should we have some seasonal scribing skill roll in and out every once awhile to fresh up the combat/rotation?

For example, one season would introduce one or two scribing skills for people to play around with it and rotate out after next season.

Of course it is not necessary to be seasonal, it can be every half a year. Good for testing the water and introducing novelty to the gaming environment.

What do you think?

I do think that the current method of acquiring Grimoires is rather boring. Only two of them are acquired via quests, and after you unlock them, you can buy them on alts at any time. All of the other Grimoires are initially acquired by purchasing them for gold, which makes them trivial to acquire for many people.

I could see future Grimoires be initially earned from sources like Antiquities, quest rewards (such as from the last quest of a new Companion's quest chain), or some kind of event, bought with Event Tickets from the assistant year-round, like how the Hide Shoulders appearance option is offered. I wouldn't put any Grimoires in the Crown Store directly, though.

Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Well, how does anything seasonal even fit in the game? TES isn’t about seasons at all, and absolutely nothing would make sense if they suddenly added “seasons.”
That’s why… honestly, it would make as much sense as the current state of the game.

Yes, please, make skills seasonal, maps seasonal, classes seasonal, everything seasonal.
Even better: make everything random. When we log in, have the game auto-roll a class, skills, motifs, and whatever else, and just hand us a build to play with.

And yes, I can really, really see ZOS doing something like this.

I would still hate that less than the actual state of the game right now.
Elder Scrolls Online? A delightful blend of tragedy and comedy. Hilarious! Terrifying!
As Sheogorath, say: "If it makes you laugh and cry at the same time… PERFECT! Do it again!"
