68/69 Stonefalls

mcdaniel.phillipub17_ESO
I have finished all found quests in Stonefalls. My map areas are all showing complete. Is something bugged or am I just missing a quest that doesnt relate to a particular area?

Thanks

I have 69/69 and the achievement which I earned last night so I can confirm all quests are there and working.
I would recommend going back through all the areas to see if you happened to miss anything, I'm not 100% sure if Crows Wood counts or not towards this, if running around looking fails check for a quest listing for the zone via a search engine and see if it points to one you have missed.

Apparently it was just a letter delivery quest (last one) from Stonefall to Deshaan (even if it shows quest in Deshann, in your journal, it will count as Stonefall quest!). Crows Wood counts, you got 2 chain quests in there, or not even 3. But I dont think this is for those, who got that 1 last quest left (as they would notice they missed 1 in that small zone).

Even though this could be down to missing any quest at all, and could be different for each person, i figured I'd tell you I found mine, and it was at "Fort Arand". Two quests and out of the way. Just south of "Fort Arand Wayshrine".

Nothing ever took me near it until I started circling the map to find this missing one.

there are more than 69 quests. I think I did 71 or 72. you may have missed an out of the way quest, but if you adventure enough you can have random encounters (robbing a merchant, or giving to the poor) out in the field doing this counts as a quests in the zone they occur.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Even if you like to to explore, it's possible to miss quests. In Glenumbra I was at 61 completed quests before I realized I had missed one early on. It was located smack dab in the middle of three story quest locations and I never passed through it. It was actually two combined quests, and I had done them in an earlier beta so it wasn't like I didn't know it was there even.

Side note, interesting that the number is 69. If Mittens Q. Deathclaw III was still getting lost, I wonder if it would have been an even 70.

    This was where mine were...awesome!

The quest with delivering the letter to Deshaan didn't count for me. I did it when I was 68/69, because I desperately didn't want to do any of the thief quest or one that would reduce my char to nothing more but an assasin for hire. Anyways, With such a low margin of quests remaining after doing the achievement amount of 69, I think the said amount should be reduced to 65-67.

I had no problem getting the achievement for stonefalls when I did it. You probably missed a quest. Make sure you do some dungeons because they have quest near them. If you haven't tried, you can go go over by the brothers of strife wayshrine and see if you forgot that quest line. If not, there is a spider cave by hrogar's hold. There will be a woman outside saying to go inside and kill the spider queen. All in all, the amount doesn't need any reducing. The only place that needs to be reduced is shadowfen. There is a total of 64 quests in shadowfen, but those extra 2 quests are talk to this person to complete a quest you didn't start, only to get another quest meaning if you do something out of the order they intended, you're screwed out of getting the achievement for the area. It needs to be fixed, not urgently, but perhaps soon because it prevents you from getting hero of the pact achievement. A word of advice before they fix it though, when you get to shadowfen, do not do the quest that requires you to deal with argonian and khajiiti pirates.

I have not missed any of the quests you mentioned, but deliberatelly skipped three I did not wish to complete. Had I chosen to do them I would have no problems either. Plus the fact that the Deshaan one did not count for some reason.

Wait, are you saying you have skipped doing three quests in the zone? If so then sure that's why you wont have the achievement. I know some people who wont take/do a quest because of RP and their characters but if you want achievements/completion you need to ignore that.

I'm all for someone being RP and refusing a quest. But if your goal is to complete achievements, then you have to decide which is more important.

I might be a Khajit who refuses to hurt furry little kittens, but odds are somewhere in this game is a quest to make you hurt furry little kittens.

My suggestion ... kill the kittens quick so they don't suffer at somebody else's hand.

Person who aims for achievements will do as many quests as needed, no matter what they are and how many there are. Person who does not give a second thought to achievs will skip through the zone as fast as possible which is way before they complete all neccesary quests. Thus problem arises only for, in essence, RPers. Now, I realise we are the minority, and I do not believe any changes will be made for us. I can still wish I would be able to complete achievs without giving up my char's integrity, can I not? ;)

Hmm, I'm in Eastmarch now but also only have 68/69 in Stonefalls. When I get home tonight, I'm going to have to check out the Ft. Arand area. Thanks for the tip.

We just need the names of the 69 quests....
