Rework Shapeshifters Chain Mythic Idea

If this mythic was changed into the following, would we see more use of it, or would it be overpowered to be added to the game. Explain why or why not?

Theory-crafted Shapeshifters Chain
(1 item) Restore 25% of the werewolf damage you deal as Health and reduce the cost of your Werewolf Transformation Ultimate and Werewolf abilities by 20%.

While transformed, increase your Maximum Health, Stamina, and Magicka by 2500, and increase your Health, Magicka, and Stamina recovery by 850.

At the same time, in werewolf form, you take 25% more damage from player poison damage

    I don't like this idea.

For one, werewolves don't need lifesteal. What they need is an actual heal over time, like Hircine's Fortitude had long ago. Claws of Life is an example of how pitifully lifesteal works on a werewolf.

Secondly, the buff to the max resources and recoveries isn't really warranted. It's actually much more overtuned than the increased Poison Damage taken. Also, I'd never use that Mythic if it increased the drawbacks of Werewolf — just look at how nobody uses the Vampire Lord set because it increases the drawbacks of your Vampire Stage.

Third, Shapeshifter's Chain is (unfortunately) thematically supposed to be about three specific transformation abilities, rather than just Werewolf Transformation. Changing it to be solely about Werewolf wouldn't make anyone who uses that Mythic for non-Werewolf builds very happy.

Thank you for the feedback! I was thinking of ways this myth could be useful. But I can see I didn’t consider the transformation, cause in my mind it seemed more like a werewolf myth. I also didn't account for the poison damage making the mythic useless.

I sometimes use the current iteration of Shapeshifter's Chain specifically for Werewolf PvP builds, though I know it's sometimes used in Bashcro builds when paired with Pummeling Goliath in the Bone Tyrant line. Shapeshifter's actually went unused by werewolves until they extended the cost reduction to the Werewolf active abilities in addition to the transformation.

I'd say the most important resource when playing Werewolf is your Magicka. Your only healing ability (barring Devour, which requires a corpse, and Claws of Life, which requires a target to take DoT from that skill) consumes a ludicrous amount of Magicka. Any way you can reduce the cost of Magicka abilities or increase your Magicka Recovery is especially valuable, especially since you do not have the option of restoring Magicka to yourself from your heavy attacks, even when you transform with a staff equipped.

That's what makes Shapeshifter's Chain special. It reduces the cost of your heal, allowing you to survive longer. You should pair Shapeshifter's Chain with similar bonuses, such as passives from the Imperial race, Dark Magic (Sorcerer) or Dawn's Wrath (Templar) passives, or even a few pieces of Light Armor.

That being said, I would like to see a dedicated Werewolf Mythic eventually. Shapeshifter's Chain and Huntsman's Warmask are thematically or functionally similar to one, but they have use cases beyond just using Werewolf. I just hope it's implemented more like Salvation (bonuses while transformed) rather than like Vampire Lord (bonuses+penalties at all times).
