Posted the guild in chat and rode away. He joined immediately. NW convert. He's been very active and I hope he'll bring friends. You never know who might be asking for help in chat and it never hurts to spare 5 minutes.

EXACTLY THIS!!! Thank you friend!! Thats why I don't like this negative propaganda where everything is doom and gloom and "there are no good options" etc.
We still have some good options, ESO is one of them. And my favorite. And there are plenty of people who need to find it and will enjoy it.
Is the game perfect? Is it what every player is looking for? No.
But it's THE BEST for multiple categories, and those people are out there.
There has never been a worse time to get invested into ESO. More than half their staff has been laid off in the last six months, just for starters.

Except perhaps for a player looking for a mostly solo questing and exploration experience, in which case the base game on sale is well worth it.
I know several people who were excited to play New World when it launched and none of them were interested in PvP. They only mentioned it when assuring friends they were trying to get to play that you could turn it off and never have to worry about it.
Most were former WoW players who got burned out on that game and have been looking for something which gives them the same feeling WoW did when they started, but somehow with less committment because they're all older and have less free time now. I don't think any of them stuck around more than a few months.

A truly glorious idea...
but first, let's ride better for the already lost and endangered hands that kept and keep this game going. So that no more is lost than has been lost so far.
Start as usual at dawn, of course.
Tbh I didn't really know anyone playing it after the initial hype. Not much into mmo pvp, so didn't follow it closely. I would figure they would feel more at home in Dune or Arc Raiders though.
