So we’re getting a huuuuuuge hotfix maintenance to fix Tales of Tribute - the card game played by about 0.01% of what’s left of our population, but nothing to fix the shopping list of bugs, errors, and nonsense from Writhing Wall and the last update?

I have a week off, yesterday the weather was bad so I was like 'nice, gonna chill and play ESO'.
Maintenance day.
Today I had other stuff to do, but I told myself 'well tomorrow I'm definitely just gonna chill and get some ESO time in', and now this? 8 hours, for a hotfix, for a leaderboard? I hope they made a typo in the announcement there because this can't be right.

This is totally wild, urgent maintenance with 8 hours downtime to fix ToT, but *not* all the issues that came up with the event? Or all the animation memory reduction problems? Or any of the zillion bugs that actually affect most of the core of the game that we're told we have to live with till the next incremental?

It's only gonna get worse. Ten years of patches and hotfixes are building a skyscraper on a foundation of sand. The term foresight has no meaning.

I'm pretty sure that was edited in later.
Still an extremely long time for the second maintenance this week, during events.

That was added after I made my post. You can see the edit date stamp.

That said….. so what? Writhing Wall was already full of bugs and issues, and Update Whatever has only exacerbated the problem. Half of what they introduced with the update is broken in some way, and they broke more besides. But what do we get? An incredibly lengthy hotfix in the middle of TWO events, for the least of issues.

I would like to know how the code got bugged given there is nothing in the patch notes that would indicate they were changing this code.

When PVP leaderboards were broken it took 2 weeks to fix. No special downtime.
