(bolded is my emphasis)

Maybe my brain is not properly turned on yet, but I understand this as Ghishzor can't appear until mid November, on consoles, which would mean that phase two can't begin until mid November.
Seeing XBoxEU and PSEU are over 60% after one week I can't see how phase one can be dragged out for 3 more weeks.

Also, didn't he/she/it already appear, by mistake?

I am confused.

That's why I am confused. Jessica says he will appear after patch 48 is up, which for consoles are mid November.
But he has already been up, due to a bug, so he should already be in the game, just not turned on.
Why does she talk about update 48?

Could be wrong, but I'm sure I saw a wraith type thing in a Rivenspire delve with the same, or a similar name - I ran past when I saw the health bar and only had a glance at its name.

Ghish accidentally appeared early, so a hotfix nuked him until the update.

Of course, that implies that consoles really won't see him until three days or so before they go to Phase 3. I guess we'll either have another hotfix incoming, or the team will be like "whoopsie! whatever!"

"patched up" and available are not the same thing. ZOS often patch in content weeks in advance but it only becomes available on a certain date.

It's likely the content for phase 2 is already there - as evidenced by the boss appearing when he shouldn't have. So when U48 hits it will likely be for other changes rather than the event.

It’s not “likely” that the Phase 2 stuff is already there, it’s guaranteed that it’s there. Phases 1 and 2 were added to the game with U47. Also, all servers will necessarily hit Phase 2 before consoles even get U48.

They also directly confirmed in the Known Issues thread that Ghishzor was removed from the game after dropping early and would return with the U48 release.

U48 will put Phase 3 content (and Easter Sol) onto live so all servers will likely hit P2 before U48. While historically ZOS have released updates to console a couple of weeks after PC, and as flawed as ZOS can be sometime, I do not see them not having accounted for that. Even IF that pattern holds and ZOS do release console U48 two weeks after PC, they still have the window to do that in if PC gets U48 when P2 starts, and consoles get it as P2 comes to a close.

This whole event has had so many missteps it is unbelievable. First there was a quest that was available too early, then the camps appeared too early, then this boss appeared too early. Then the camps would spawn and disappear. Now the souls aren’t dropping properly sometimes. Anything I missed?
