Twitch drop stopped working?

Twitch drops stopped cold, and hasn't moved no matter what channel I watch. Twitch drop site says that it ends at 17'th, so we still have 2 more days, but nothing is happening. Can you please check on that, ZOS?

Agree. It says it ends at Fri 17 Oct, 04:59 BST which is most definitely TOMORROW, but I've tried FIVE x ESO streams (including one Stream Team member) which are all supposedly included and none of them are increasing the percentages. I've also tried on my phone as well as my laptop. And yes, my ESO account and Twitch accounts are definitely linked.

Yeah, it's really bizarre. We're losing out on a great mount drop, and it is of no fault of our own.

I opened a support ticket about this very thing on the 14th. They essentially told me that drops aren’t guaranteed and to contact Twitch about it. (Like wow, really?) Luckily for me I was able to get it to progress again by switching to yet another streamer to complete & claim the mount. But the whole experience was rather frustrating, especially with ZOS customer service simply brushing me off to Twitch support. Things like this really make me feel like a valued customer.

Tried several streamers,but the drop doesn't go above 63% for the mount.

ZOS shouldn't promote Twitch drops if they can't even guarantee that they work as intended. This is fraud, and I have better things to do than stay on a Twitch stream for 8 hours (more, since it stayed still for ages without me knowing).

Oh I agree with you @Quackery hence why I opened the ticket. Unfortunately ZOS seems rather oblivious to the fact that they are actively alienating their player base. It’s baffling to be honest.

I’m streaming right now. People have started complaining en masse that the drops have stopped. I checked myself, and my progress isn’t advancing either.

I was was watching for 3 hours now and I got 25% and 50% - so it was one percent in 3 hours.

They don't even activate, I've been on it for an hour now and the progress doesn't even show up in my Twitch inventory.

Yes, it’s something with DuoLingo (hence the Bird).

Unfortunately it keeps obscuring messages about other drops and (fittingly for something related to DuoLingo) ignores all my requests to “never show again” when I dismiss it.

If Twitch drops are so finicky, and ZOS isn't going to bother assisting its players with bugs in its own game promotions, then perhaps don't make drops require 8 HOURS of watch time. Just a suggestion.

To be fair ZOS has no control over Twitch timers. Only if the drop doesn't appear in game after you have claimed it on twitch. So you need to put in a support ticket with Twitch because it is their timers that are broken.

If a great number of people are having issues (and it does appear to be effecting a lot of users), ZOS could reach out to Twitch staff to make sure the issue is being addressed in a timely manner. They could even extend the drop window if possible. "LOL Not our problem! 🤷" is not the message you want to send to players who spent 8 HOURS of their life to participate in this event. If they want us to make that amount of effort they need to ensure it goes smoothly.

I got mine, all 3. With that, I'm not saying there can't be any issues for others. I also had to "fight" with that dumb "Don't show again+Dismiss" combo until Twitch finally decided to accept it. Unfortunately, in my experience, that "Subscribe to get drop" pop-up hides the regular ones, so you might not even notice it.

Since Twitch altered the Drops' mechanism, it is now possible to have only one "Drops Enabled" stream active at any given time. If, by chance, a 2nd "Drops Enabled" stream gets started, the progress stops.

Again, I'm not saying this is the case, but checking to be sure is worth a try.

Using Microsoft Edge browser fixed it for me. I was using Firefox previously, even created an entirely new profile, and but nothing I did helped.

Tried Chrome and Edge. The timer isn't runnging.
Yes, now I get popup about ESO drops instead of duolingo one, but it didn't fix the problem with timer itself.

Under Edge, it finally ticked 1%. Something’s still off with the timer though, 20 minutes isn’t 1% of 8 hours. But at least it ticked, so there’s hope my 10% will finish ticking by the end of the event.

I had to switch back and forth between streamers a few times, and each time it went up 1%. But it seems to be working normally now. Also working in Firefox again.

I've had eligible streams running (one at a time, each raiding to the next) for the past 12+ hours and have gotten credit for 20 minutes. "Really screwy" may be an understatement

@ZOS_Kevin Could we please get an acknowledgment of this issue?

When I launched my computer today,it has jumped by 24%,and it seems to have resumed working as intended.

However,it should have been bette to add 1 day to complete the drops...
