I LOVE THE NEW SKILL STYLES

Just want to say THANK YOU for finally giving us a way to reskin Animal Companions!

I have one concern though, one of those Styles is for Dragon Leap (my favorite skill in the game), and I know that Protective Scales are kind of a dead skill but is there any way that you guys could make a 4th skill style for the bundle to let all of the Draconic Power wings match?

I know I'm personally very excited about the cliff racer one. My Warden is a Skaal, so the more that I can divorce him from Morrowind, the better (throwing birds makes more sense than throwing pterodactyls). But he'll keep the fetcherflies - he is a werebear, so attacking with his own fleas is kind of on point for him.

I definitely hope they go ham on Skill Styles. Sure, the recolors are probably easy enough to churn out, but the ones that change effects are definitely very cool and make it way more fun to customize characters the way we want.

My biggest wish (for the above character lol) is a Werewolf transformation one that replaces the model with a werebear so I can really get him to look right.

But I hope they see how excited we get for these and start churning these skill styles out. I'll admit, I'm a giant sucker for customizations, so that's a lot of money that I'd throw down if I got more that fit my characters' personalities.

From the Crown Store Showcase posted today.

One is a Hollowjack-themed version of the Arcanist ultimate (the icon makes it look like it replaces the watcher with a pumpkin), and then there's a set of crow-themed skills for Warden (cliff racer and fetcherflies) and DK (dragon leap)

It's not a datamine, it's from the October crown store showcase. Previews of what the skill looks like would be a datamine but I've never heard of a datamine showing skill previews.

Really lookinh forward to the giant pumpkin floating in the sky, really hope this is a sign for more stuff like that.

Also really love the crows (I used to wear the unfathomable darkness set for the crows), but sadly I don't use warden skills. Luckilly my partners does, so I can atleast enjoy it when he uses his skills haha.

Can't wait what they will do next!

i am very excited for these skill styles too! they will be perfect for my Nocturnal build.

Also this is technically not the first time we got skill styles that change a skill's model.
Magelight got a Passion Blossom style which changes the floating light into the Passion's Dancer Blossom pet.

I have a feeling that Swarm will be the Unfathomable Darkness effect, and that is going to make using the skill so much more appealing to me.

I have enjoyed skill styling, but this kind of thing with more than just recolors is the part I've really been waiting for. Though, I'll feel mostly sad when it appears in the crown store because I just can't enjoy it nearly as much when it's monetized and not earned in game. I just feel like such a sucker when I shell out lots of money on these things.

They've put a lot earnable in game, but I will say that Skill Styles are the perfect thing for them to put in the Crown Store. It's cosmetic and completely optional, and this game does need to make money (and after this year, I'm sure Season Pass sales are not going to bring in a lot anymore).

I saw the Sorc twilight one and decided to pass since I play my sorc without pets, and he's got an elemental theme in the first place. But the Warden bear was an instant buy from the second they announced it because it fits perfectly with the theme. Same way that I'm absolutely getting the crow styles for the Warden, but I don't need to hollowjack for my Arcanist.

I also used that set only for the crows on my Nocturnal gal back in the days.

So many mudcrabs I’ve accidentally aggroed when I used that set. 😂

I’m looking forward to checking out the crow styles! I hope there will also be spider themed styles in the future — including for trapping webs, which inappropriately summons hoarvers!
