Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online PTS v11.2.2! This week, we welcome the Daedric War Celebration back to the PTS rotation, along with more fixes and improvements to the Writhing Wall Event.

The majority of fixs and adjustments in this PTS patch are related to Seasons of the Worm Cult, Part 2 content. From a slew of quest fixes and adjustments, housing adjustments, achievement fixes, and Battle for the Writhing Wall tweaking, there is are host of changes to provide a better experience once Update 48 launches.

All PC EU characters have been copied for testing this week. As always, feel free to provide feedback on PTS v11.2.2 through our feedback and bug threads, located here. The patch size for this update is 544.8MB.

    Battle for the Writhing Wall
    Crossing the Wall
    • Completing the Writhing Fortress is no longer required to complete the zone story when Phase 3 of the event is complete.
    • Azah no longer goes invisible after conversing with him.
    Siege Camps
    • Isharna no longer targets out of range players with Lightning Onslaught.
    • Soul Wall music extended to the area around the Central Siege Camp while the Wall remains active.
    Solstice
    • Reaper Incursions are now spawning as they should.
    • Fixed an issue where it was possible to get more than the daily max of event repeatable quests.
    Writhing Fortress
    • Fixed Quest Step desyncs in the Bone Colossus and Harvester wings.
    • The Bone Colossus no longer resets if all players wiped as it was dying.
    • You can no longer skip an encounter by going out of order.
    • Added a POI icon and Wayshrine to Writhing Fortress
    • Writhing Wall Event UI will now show the amount of time left before the Writhing Wall event ends.
    • You can no longer get multiple instances of Azureplasm Fortification.
    • You no longer get two different stacks of Sustained Rejuvenation.

    Event: Daedric War Celebration
    We cast our gaze back to the Daedric War storyline and the adventures across Vvardenfell, Clockwork City, and Summerset Isle. This event returns from its previous incarnation a few years ago, with a new outfit style, the Light of Knowledge.
    The optional introductory quest, Guidance for Guides, is available once again from Calinor near any Impresario tent. The Help entry for this event has all the details on reward sources. There is a new grab bag available on the Impresario for especially old rewards from this event and similar ones.

    General
    • Crafted potions are now able to be utilized properly while using cast or channel time abilities.
    • Abilities that follow your reticle (such as Puncturing Strikes or Fatecarver) now properly update their targeting if you cast them while stationary.

    Item Sets
    • Mythic Sets
      • Huntsman's Warmask: Increased the duration of the mark from this set to 60 seconds, up from 20. Increased the damage done to marked target to 20%, up from 8%, while increasing the penalty to damage done to unmarked targets to 50%, up from 4%. This set now also triggers off dealing damage with a Bash, in addition to fully-charged Heavy Attacks.

        [Developer Comment]
        We’re significantly upping the damage bonus and the penalty of this set to help carve out more of a niche based on feedback, where the Week 1 numbers were far too safe and didn’t offer enough value in most contexts. Now the set should be a strong contender for single target encounters or prioritizing lethal threats, at the expense of cleave and area damage.

    Achievements
    • Eastern Solstice striking locales now properly contribute to the "Solstice Pathfinder" achievement.
    • Solstice Master Explorer is now granted as expected.
    • Updated Journey of the Heart achievement to clarify that you can be at any Shrine to Mara or Mother Morrowind to fulfill that condition.
    Antiquities
    • Updated missing icons for new Antiquities in Solstice.
    • Adjusted many Antiquity Dig Sites in Eastern Solstice to move them away from combat encounters, better align with dig site maps, and/or fix placement issues with terrain.
    Item Sets
    • Huntsman’s Warmask
      • The Huntsman's Warmask basic dye tints now display as expected.
    • Xanmeer Genesis
      • The lingering sound effects from this set are now quieter.
    Thieves Troves
    • Fixed several Trove placement issues.

    Druidspring Conservatory
    • Removed the duplicate furnished furnishing template from the Druidspring Conservatory.
    • Added “Druidspring Gazebo, Round” to the Druidspring Conservatory's furnishing template.
    • Audio updates to the Druidspring Conservatory.
    Furnishings
    • Corrected an issue where two furnishings, "Worm Cult Lamp, Floor Cold-Flame" and "Worm Cult Lamp, Table Cold-Flame", were categorized as Lanterns instead of Lamps.
    • The precision edit for the furnishing "Battlefield Marker, Flag Spear" now works as intended.
    • The furnishings "Worm Cult Candelabra, Cold-Flame" now has the correctt icon.
    • Several visual adjustments to furnishings.

    • Added additional sound effects throughout all of the Eastern Solstice content.

    • An Argonian Education
      • Updated Bak-Deelith Xankapa’s dialogue to the correct Argonian tribe.
    • Choice and Consequence
      • Destroyed ballista no longer have collision. This is now working as intended.
      • Outfits should now function as intended when meeting specific NPCs repeatedly.
      • Disguise and Key Chests now animate when interacting with them.
      • Fixed an issue with several big theater scenes where they could get in bad states by leaving/relogging.
    • The Deep Tombs of Xul-Haj
      • The ladders in the cistern room are now properly usable.
      • Jeetra on longer repeat multiple VO lines while grouped.
      • Character races now use the proper swim animation while in the cistern.
      • Leashing the boss will no longer auto complete the last encounter.
    • Dismantling the Worm
      • Adjusted Ojouna’s dialogue to properly reflect the boss type.
    • The Final Dark
      • Adjusted the positioning of interacting with a specific object in Mor Naril Garden to look more natural.
      • Grouped players will now need to destroy both soul flayers while traversing the garden portion of Mor Naril.
      • Players in a group will now properly see effects for the portal within the Wraithforge.
      • Updated several quest assist tracker texts.
      • You will now see proper quest pins over objects during the final encounter of Mor Naril.
      • You will no longer witness jumping quest pins when entering the priory.
      • Dying during steps of the Garden segment of Mor Naril and then reviving will spawn their NPC ally back in at the appropriate location.
      • Fixed an issue with the final animation sequence where the camera could become broken based on certain inputs.
      • Icons related to the quest and encounters now function as intended.
      • Your allies no longer show up in multiple locations at once. Unfortunately, this isn’t an anime.
      • Destroying the shackle will now have appropriate FX.
      • Logging out and back in during specific steps of the Garden will no longer have your allies repeat information that is no longer relevant.
      • Updated the hitbox size of the Soul Flayers.
    • Fleeing the Shadows
      • Nalgorfin no longer warns you about something that never actually happens. Hopefully no more Nostradamus-like predictions from Nalgorfin.
    • Lost Among the Shadows
      • Fixed VO timing issues throughout the quest.
    • Lost Fleet
      • Adjusted some of Xynark’s voice over lines so they play more clearly.
      • Adjusted Desa’s dialogue to reflect there is only one gem.
      • Adjusted Captain One-Eye's dialogue to accurately reflect world building.
    • The Gates of Mor Naril
      • Walks-in-Ash will now say specific greetings while you are on the Gates of Mor Naril quest.
    • Roots in Stone
      • Fixed VO timing issues throughout the quest.
      • Sound effects on the swinging Pendulums should now be more consistent.
    • The Worm Turns
      • You can now advance the Talk to Skordo step if you had completed one of the Coldharbour base game quests.

    Vengeance Campaign
    • Addressed issues that allowed cost reduction for Dodge Roll and Sneak to apply in Vengeance.
    • Updated tooltip colors for several Vengeance exclusive items to better indicate usability.
    • Perk and Loadout menus are no longer present in the Imperial City Campaign menu.
    • You can no longer attempt to assign slottable items from your normal bag in Vengeance.

    Combat Animation Memory Reduction
    • Numerous combat animation inconsistencies have been addressed. Reduced memory combat animations are now properly enabled on collected polymorphs.

    Hearts Week
    • General
      • Corrected the placement of the copy of "Reigniting Love for Contemporary Audiences" at Kuzam-jo's tent, so that it no longer clips with the Mara symbol.
      • Corrected an issue where the "Helping Hand" Hearts Week achievement would advance outside of Hearts Week.
    • Heartsick Follies
      • The conversation between Ghadaz and Essynia now plays properly at the end of the quest.
    • Reward Boxes
      • Adjusted names and descriptions of reward boxes.
    • A Toast to Malcontents:
      • Updated some quest pin locations so they are more accurate on the map.
      • Updated the description of the wine you get so its origins are more dubious.
      • Improved some timing on theater scenes with the picnic goers and cleaned up various animations. No more double punched rejections!
      • Sanguine’s treats are now properly registering as owned items, so you will generate bounty if you are caught trying to steal them.

    • Seabloom Villa flowers now function as expected, after leaving the home.

    • Updated the following Golden Pursuits for clarity and readability:
