Subscription plan questions

Hello, I have a few questions about the subscription plans;
I am wondering if Elder Scrolls Online pre-paid cards are available at Wal-mart?

The recurring subscription plan for 30 days will I be charged $14.99 every month or just be charged $14.99 once 'till I pay for another 30 days?

The recurring subscription plan for 180 days, will I be charged $12.99 every month? or charged $77.94 every 180 days? Or charged $77.94 immediately? (this is the one I prefer because making sure I have enough funds in the card every month is inconvenient for me)

Every OTHER MMO, when I've bought a chunk of months, they all got charged at once.

I do not necessarily trust ZO to be following what I see as standard conventions, caveat emptor.

Then you need to make damn sure to cancel your sub before 180 days expires. You will get the remaining time paid for, but everything is damn auto-renew these days, and you can't turn it off.

I know and it is very inconvenient, Silly ZoS and their inconvenient plans.

The reason why I am making sure about how the payment process works is because my sister is paying for it and I do not want her to overpay. But I think I will just make sure I send her $100 every 180days. Until the local stores sell pre-paid cards.

Yep, I hate that the industry standard nowadays is auto-renewing plans. It is so heavily skewed towards benefitting the vendor over the customer that I find it distasteful. I'm sure there ARE some people that don't want to have to remember to buy time every X months but auto-renew is a terrible way to address it and leaves people open to all kinds of economic unhappiness.

Absolutely, some of my friends got screwed over because of recurring subscriptions by forgetting about the silly account and wondering why they are being charged every month, lol.

I really hope ZoS offers a simple, digital pre-paid time like WoW does, were I just pay $30 and I am done so I don't have to worry about being accidentally overcharged.

once you pay, cancel the subscription so it wont auto renew. This way you pay when you want
