If you use paypal, do you get charged immediately? or just on hold?

Cause i want to use a friends paypal but don't want him to get charged immediately.

Yes, but the money is still gone from my account... I think it will atleast take me a couple of bank-days to get them back again so probably after the weekend. I only wish I had opted for just one month instead of for SIX months...
