ZOS: Could you please make enemies face only north?

Apparently Nightblades will lose the Master assassin passive and 6.6 % of crit chance, when they're facing south. YES, FACING SOUTH. So could enemies only be facing north for now on? That way nightblades don't lose the passive?

You can check it yourself, just slot assassination skill, face south and open character screen.

So ya, thought you were missing something.

I have assassination skill line on my sorc (as its required in todays game)
I dont have the points for all the passives (grinding skyshards now), but I was able to unlock 1/2 Master Assassin

I checked it in grahtwood, definitely a thing, but I thought maybe I was looking at a mob or something.

So I ported to one of my houses.

If I am looking south, open character pane, I get 55.7 (character faces and turns north when you open the character pane)

If I am looking north, open character pane, I get 52.4.

This is a visual bug with how it is tracked and how it applies when you don't actually have an enemy you're engaged with.

In actual content if you look at a log you will see it is applying (as in, your crit damage will math out to the correct percent) as long as you are flanking, no matter which way you are facing, but your cmx will still claim you're under crit unless you're facing south.

I just got out of Vollenfell, group member needed quest, quest bugged out for him. It did it to me in the past years ago.

Does anything get fixed here anymore, are we truly in maintenance mode, without the maintenance part?

No,I Very sure I first time know this I still a new, a nb good player teach me all thing and tell this funny bug ,maybe in 2018-2019,but old passive is pen

Well then on console it is not only visual? Damage is actually lower when facing north. Fact.

You need to actually test this by counting the number of crit hits.

ETA: if you lose damage by facing north, it’s completely unrelated to the issue mentioned by OP, which is a visual bug in the stat sheet that occurs only when facing south (not north, east, or west). I would suggest making a separate thread for an issue regarding lower damage when facing north, with supporting evidence so the cause can be identified.
