I develop addons related to collectibles, and I’ve found that the current PTS setup isn’t ideal for my workflow when it uses a copy of my EU data, since I don’t have any established EU characters. On the NA server, I’ve unlocked most achievements and can purchase all writ vendor items, which is essential for gathering the data I use in my addons and for thorough analysis on the PTS.
If there were an option to unlock achievements on the PTS, it would enable access to writ vendor items regardless of which server’s data is copied. This would be extremely helpful for addon developers and testers who rely on achievement-based unlocks for their work.
