Hey guys/gals,
To be clear and to avoid any confusion i need to ask something regarding the subscription system.
I have pre-ordered the digital edition (standard) so i had 5 days early access.
Which means, due to the grace period, i have until Sunday to subscribe.
My question is, does this mean that in order for me to enjoy the 30 days subscription free online gaming, i have to pay for at least one month from Sunday the 6th?

How does one setup the subscription? I can't find anything related in my account settings... Also when I go to the store and click the items there, let's say the horse for example, I can't find any way to buy it, no buy button no anything, am I missing something?0 -
yeah Bitter_Daemon, Im having the same problem, I can't find a way to purchase a subscription plan anywere. It says "Once the Early Access and grace periods are finished and the game has launched, players should visit https://account.elderscrollsonline.com and follow the prompts to select their preferred subscription plan. They may also redeem a game time card as an alternative to a credit card. This begins the included 30 days of game time." so I guess we get the option to buy the subscription plan once the early acces end or am I missing something?0

when you log into your account, you will see three options:
1) Top of page "select subscription plan".
2) On the right side under Purchased Games you will see "Set up a subscription plan".
3) Under Purchased games further down you have "Select your subscription plan, it is required in order to play".

Grace periods are extended to Sunday the 6th:

I got one code for early access, then i got another one i had to redeem, when i redeemed this I had to select a sub. They put an authorization charge on your card for the full amount of the sub you selected. This only stays on for a short time.
If you want your two extra days of playtime before the free 30 days start you should not do the above before sunday.1 -

✭✭Giving your credit card details to play a sub based game is normal, while I saw a guy who said he never had to add his credit card details to any MMO; I always had in order to play the free "trial" so to speak.
If you decide to not play further, you can just cancel your sub before the 30 days end and nothing should be charged.
There currently seems to be a bug, but don't worry its a standard procedure for MMO´s. Right now you can play until Sunday if you had the pre order, from then on a "sub" is required, but it wont cost you any money until the 3.5.2014 if I counted right.1 -

Thanks guys, and "clovdal" I just redeemed the early acces code, thats why the subscription plan didn't appear in my account, but now that I redeemed the second code I have all the options. Thanks for the Help guys0

when you log into your account, you will see three options:
1) Top of page "select subscription plan".
2) On the right side under Purchased Games you will see "Set up a subscription plan".
3) Under Purchased games further down you have "Select your subscription plan, it is required in order to play".
Thing is I don't have any of what you mentioned, my guess is that it is due to me redeeming only the early access code and not the serial number for the game I purchased as the game is yet to arrive. It will suck really bad if I won't be able to play with the early access ending as the game will take a few weeks to arrive at best...0 -

Wow weeks? Where did you order your game?
Can you cancel your order and just get a digital download instead. Those keys are instant.

First beta for me, and when the pre-order was available i went for it (standard edition).
Since then, i never got any codes. Explorers pack was in game (an urn), early access and so on. Never redeemed any code with the exception for the beta.

I also had the explorer pack without redeeming the code. But i guess that was only for the early access and i had to redeem the code again for launch.
If you bougth the digital standard edition through the official site i guess it will automatically add it when the 2 day grace period is over, since early access was added without you having to redeem codes?0 -
