    Just updating the response i was given!

    Hey Joey,

    I thought I'd drop you a quick email just to let you know I haven't forgotten about your issue!

    I am still looking into this but it may take a little while longer, I'm really sorry for the delay. I'm currently awaiting a response from another department to see what we can do for you which is why I don't have an answer just yet :)

    Rest assured if by the end of my shift I still haven't received a response I will follow up with them again and hopefully when I come in again tomorrow I should have a reply for you.

    I'm really sorry for the delay but rest assured I am still working on a resolution for you. In the meantime if you have any other questions please feel free to reply directly to this email and I'll be more than happy to answer them.

    still trying to get my character back but i got a response earlier today!

    Some kinda good news! We're currently looking at some alternative solutions and we're pretty close to getting the final say on a fix for you :D

    I have sent out another email and I'm hoping this means we'll have you up and running ready for the weekend.

    They couldn't refund the whole account and set it up exactly like it was, which means its potentially a brand new acc i just don't have to grind all the way back to lvl 34.... they are restoring my imperial items swell as my back pack upgrades i had purchased earlier

    This is really great to see. Maybe not perfectly intact but at least you got your lvl34 back. Note to self: Take lots of screenshots while leveling!

    Wait. This was a ZOE issue, and they couldnt roll your character back? All they could do was give you a blank character at level 34 and your bag space, but they aren't giving you back any of your items, and making you have to start crafting over from scratch? Also, you have to re find all your sky shards? That's not right.......

    This is just total ****The game should have logs of pretty much ecerything that takes place, audit trails of mails you name it. To just get a new character with all your gear, achievements etc gone - well I literally cannot describe how angry that would make me feel. Feel very sorry for OP.
    Yeah, I got a PC. I just don't feel the need to post it's specifications for an ego boost.

    As angry as i am... its a new game... and with a new game comes glitches.... iv been waiting for this game to come out for so long that I'm just happy i can start playing again... and yeh everything is lvl 1 blank character with no sky shards or gear... i have to redo all main quests and story lines...

    I'm surprised they don't have systems in place for rolling back specific data - it's a no brainer, but I agree with you. Glass is half empty tho, you know.

    The hate is because they shouldnt have to come up with alternatives. Having logs of characters should be one of the first things that an mmo implements. It is really shocking that they are not able to do a full restore like literally every other mmo. Zenimax is full of amateurs.

    I'm a bit disappointed in the fact that they took THAT long to come up with such a simple solution. I guess the rest of us don't have any hope then. Especially when OP was lucky enough to have his case individually looked at.

    I have a pretty simple bug atm that prevents me from playing my character for about the last 110 hours? However I like the most of us have not had the luxury of a mod personally coming into the thread to look at ... so I wonder how long before mine or the rest of other people's issues will be before they get fixed.

    Since I've had nothing to do the past few days, I read this forum periodically. Moderator intervention is few and far in between ...

    This is beyond belief. In all of my gaming years, I have never felt that I needed to request a SAS 70 / SSAE 16 from the hosting company before. I guess there's a first time for everything...
