The Elder Scrolls Online v11.0.4 introduces bug fixes and improvements for Seasons of the Worm Cult, Part One and Base Game zones as we enter the last week of PTS. There are also minor fixes for Blackwood, Clockwork City, Gold Road, and Necrom content.

Additionally, there are very minor itemization changes and a slight tweak to Nightblade’s Grim Focus.

The main focus of this update is focusing on Trial, Dungeon, and Zone fixes for Season of the Worm Cult, Part One. We also have base game systems like Hero’s Return that have gotten some improvements.

One major thing to note: changes to the animation system to reduce memory usage have been reverted for update 46. These need more testing and refinement. We are taking the feedback made during this test cycle to continue improvements.

    Hero’s Return
    • If your skill bar is temporarily overridden, you can no longer remove those overrides earlier than intended.
    • While on “The Rogue Mage” quest step, if you leave the area and return before it shuts down, you should be on the proper quest step and able to continue.
    • Vanus Galerion had some mismatched audio/dialog, as well as one voice line that was not playing. These have all been fixed.
    • We adjusted Max Health and Power stats for enemies to better align with other game scaling.

          • Merciless Resolve: This ability should no longer bypass certain defensive bonuses and functions, such as Crystallized Shield.

    Mythic Items
    • Mad God's Dancing Shoes
      • The stamina and ultimate gain from these sets have a small delay to better match up with the visuals.
      • The telegraph for the forward-facing attack will now appear yellow to the caster. This will help them aim while not confusing the ability as an enemy's attack.
    Trial Sets
    • Dolorous Arena
      • The debuff visual effects should no longer remain on the enemy after the debuff ended.
    • Kazpian's Cruel Signet: This set can now apply damage once every second, up from once every half second. Reduced the damage of the proc by ~29%. We also raised the increase to your total damage per sword active to 2% per, up from 1%.
      • [Developer Comment]
        • We're adjusting this set so it has less variance in its power between multi-proc ability types such as Fatecarver vs Whirlwind. As such we're going to put slightly more power into this set's potential damage increase, while also reducing the damage per proc so it feels a bit more focused as a damage enhancer.
    • Recovery Convergence: Removed the animation from the synergy granted from this set.

    • Jynorah and Skorkhif
      • You will once again be moved to the correct platform during the second Titanic Clash.
      • Adjusted timing on when titans will use Titanic Leap as well as other abilities.
      • Sparking and Blazing Heat Ray now deal consistent damage to their target and no longer drains stamina if blocked (as it is unblockable).
      • Enfeebling areas of effect will now always damage enemies as long as the effects persist.
      • Increased the duration of Titanic Sparkstorm and Titanic Forge Blaze. Those abilities can now be dodged.
      • Goaded Breath can now be dodged.
      • No platform will have a chance to be spared from the Enlightened Channelers’ Coldfire Barrage during Titanic Clash.
      • Hard Mode
        • Heat Ray will once again be used when Jynorah and Skorkhif are at low health.
        • Increased the health of Sparking Cold-Flame Atronachs, Blazing Flame Atronachs, Sparking Banekin, Blazing Scamps, and Enlightened Channelers.
        • The upper platforms near the titans now have added reinforcements.
    • Overfiend Kazpian
      • You will now always be moved to the correct platform when intended.
      • Visual effects from the Dolorous Cista no longer have a chance to persist on Overfiend Kazpian.
      • Kazpian will now always complete his sentences. Hooked on Phonics works wonders.
      • Coldfire Barrage no longer has a chance to persist on you longer than intended.
      • Kazpian will now always target you with Vile Leap and Giant Swords, as intended.
    • Shapers of Flesh
      • Flesh Abominations will now move faster and will apply multiple areas of Rotten Slam while alive.

    Antiquities
    • Adjusted some dig sites and the dig site area near Shor's Stand so all dig sites are completely within the area.
    Justice
    • Patrols involving various safeboxes throughout Sunport have been adjusted.
    Psijic Portals
    • Psijic Portals in Solstice now work as intended and have complete loot.

    • Shell-Tide Village
      • You will no longer be forever trapped in Junal-Meenus's House if they dare trespass within.
    • Shor’s Stand
      • All trespass houses now have workable hiding baskets.
    • Solstice Overland
      • Solved several problems with the Prince of Mathness where NPCs vanished faster than intended because dramatic exits >= disappearing acts.
      • Fixed several issues with Benedicta Cartia and how she responded to your dialogue. Benedicta is a better communicator now.
      • Made several fishing spots easier to fish from.
      • Adjusted the type of several fishing spots throughout the zone.
    • Sunport
      • A number of buildings now correctly show quest assists through the doors throughout the city.
      • Several merchants will no longer ignore criminal behavior. They were really invested in the Crime Wave event.
      • The inn bard got the correct sheet music and is now playing the correct songs.
      • Several safebox locations have been updated.
    Quests
    • Ghost Hunters
      • Fixed a ramp that you could get stuck in while running up it.
      • Searching the Reanimatorium no longer causes your groupmates quest to break.
      • You can no longer avoid spawning Valendir when entering the Wailing Gardens.
    • The Gift of Death
      • Jumping off the edge of the last area of this quest will now properly kill you.
      • We resolved several conversation camera issues.
      • Resolved some inconsistencies with Skordo and his conversations based on if you had met him or not.
    • Mystery of the Broken Temple
      • We resolved a number of issues with the quest assist.
      • Interacting with specific quest items out of sequence should no longer break the quest theater.
      • We resolved several animation/conversation issues that involved NPC just... leaving the camera area mid-conversation.
      • Eraamine no longer speaks of Tomarion and Carisea with familiarity even though she’s never met them before.
    • The Passages Beneath
      • You should now properly be launched off the boat no matter where they stand (you’ll know when you get there).
    • Rewards
      • Slightly improved the rewards from the Corelanya Manor Vault Sack.
      • Delve and World Boss daily quest coffers in Solstice will no longer reward West Weald furnishing recipes.
      • Items from the Weekly Quest coffer for Ossein Cage will now be awarded at Purple quality.
    • The Stirk Fellowship
      • Typos in this quest are now resolved.
    • The Stubbornness of Nords
      • When returning to Speaker Hialf, Britt will no longer leave the house prematurely because you speak to her.
      • Overlapping VO should no longer occur.
    • Tides of the Heart
      • We resolved animation issues.
    • The Writhing Wall
      • Boss encounter visuals are working as intended of this quest.

    Combat Animation Memory Reduction
    • Changes to the animation system to reduce memory usage from previous PTS cycles have been reverted for update 46 to undergo further testing and refinement.
    Melee weapon light and heavy attacks
    • Light and heavy attacks for melee weapons received some minor visual updates. There were no gameplay changes to light attack weaving or animation cancelling; it still works exactly as it has before. However, light attack animations now strike the target quicker. This doesn't prevent you from weaving the next attack, but it tries to get to the point of impact quicker to better match what is happening on the server and give you more accurate visual feedback.
    • While striking a target remains unchanged, missing a target with your melee weapon no longer makes you lose your footing and focus on the enemy. This is just a visual change, but it will hopefully make player characters look more skilled when they swing a weapon at nothing (often one of the first things players do).
    Skill Styling
    • Dual Wield – Blade Cloak, Mirrormoor
      • The Mirrormoor shards are now visible when in first person camera.

    • You will now be moved to the correct area should you die while Selene is on her web and the fight proceeds to the ground.

    • The following furnishings are no longer missing from the Solstice Home Goods Vendor:

    • The furniture and crafting recipe for the furnishing “Tide-Born Bench, Wicker” now have the proper matching quality.
    • New furnishings appears as intended now on PTS, rather than the darker shades earlier in the PTS cycle.
    Furnishing Vault
    • Added a new alert to explain why you can’t store stolen or Gem-extractable furniture to the Furnishing Vault.
    Houses
    • Made minor visual tweaks to the “Theater of the Ancients” home.

    • The gamepad addon manager now properly refreshes an addon's enabled states when enabling/disabling dependencies.
    Furnishing Vault
    • Fixed an issue in the housing editor causing storage locations not yet acquired to appear as available in the Retrieve To selection UI.
    General Bugfixes
    • There is no longer a desync between when the login screen is shown and when the music begins playing.
    • The correct class icon now apprears as intended on Vengeance skill lines.
    Hero’s Return
    • Golden Pursuit campaigns outside of Hero's Return are now correctly visible.
    • The Level Up sequence will now be suppressed.
    Subclassing
    • Skill style icon now updates when changing from the subclassing skills preview screen.
    • The “Exit Preview” keybind should now update to “Exit” upon use in the Subclassing preview mode of a skill line.
    • The "Cancel Subclass" keybind should not always be present in respec mode when Subclassing.
